          A:  Thank you for your question. This LED has an internal ballast, but the fixture specifications need to allow LED bulbs with a GU24 base. This bulb uses 8.8 watts of electricity.

            A:  It certainly should - it is a GU24 base, and as far as I know all finished-product LED bulbs are "self-ballast." Just make sure yours is not a mini bulb.

            I have been using the bright white LED light in my garage and decided to use the soft white LED light in my kitchen. The soft white produces a yellow hue in the kitchen while the bright white displays a whiter light like daylight in the garage. I’ve replaced most of my incandescent bulbs to LED since I tried these out. Although the LED lights are more expensive upfront they eventually pay off because they produce less heat and have a longer life.

            I needed a well-lit light for my garage and the product didn’t disappoint when it comes to light output, it works really well. I’ve been using this bright white LED light for over a year and half and I am happy with the outcome. Overall the product delivers on its promise and it uses less energy than regular bulbs. I’ve replaced most of my incandescent bulbs to LED since I tried this product out. Although the LED lights are more expensive upfront they eventually pay off because they produce less heat and have a longer life.

            Having used this Feit Electric brand of LED bulbs before with great results, this 60-Watt equivalent A19 GU24 dimmable light bulb in bright white does not disappoint. This light bulb base is of the style that 3 of my ceiling fans use. Light output is equivalent to a 60-watt light bulb or 800 lumens. This bulb is suitable to use in enclosed fixtures, which not all bulbs are designed to do. Warranty on this bulb is for 5 years, and it should last about 4 times that long. I like this led bulb, its compact, uses very little power and is in a traditional light bulb shape so it will fit in places a regular light bulb does. The bright white light output is good for spaces like home office, garage and kitchen areas.

            These GU24 base LED bulbs are about the same size and shape as a normal base bulb. I got them to replace my compact spiral fluorescents in my Panasonic bathroom exhaust fan. These LED bulbs are more efficient, warmer in color and instantly turn on which I prefer. Unfortunately the way my fan / light housing and cover are designed, these bulbs were just a bit too large to fit with the cover over them. That was an unpleasant surprise. Luckily I have another GU24 base light fixture where I used them instead. The warm color is nice, they dim well, suitable for damp / enclosed locations and only use 8.8 watts. I wish they were priced lower and were designed a bit smaller. No need for a large shape LED bulb anymore. They are exactly as advertised.
