The ad LIES. It is NOT compatible with all brands. Simpson (and some others) is a totally different plastic strip design that is incompatible. Still haven't found the ones that work.
Try to release the end where the adjustment for screw length is. It gets jammed once in awhile.
The only way it would work is if they made sheet metal screws on a feeder tape like drywall screws.
The tool will come with two bits supplied. Just be sure to firmly remove the already installed bit of the standard gun. Then install the longer bit. Then you should be in business.
Yes you will have to test on some samples to get the adjustments dailed in. Then you should beable to start using with no problems.

I believe that this attachment works across the Milwaukee line.
If I am not mistaken, I think they are 6" bits.
No there is no extension handle the attachment sort of clips onto your screw guv via 2 locking spring loaded notches on each side of the unit.
I have not come across any square bits yet.
