Q:Want to replace an obsolete Kohler faucet installed in a single hole. The Kohler should have a 2.5 hole diameter Would this be a replacement? It needs a min dia of 1 1/8 but what max to ensure the stem covers up the hole in the vanity?

Disappointed
I have other moen faucets and have generally been satisfied with them, this one included. This is the first time I have had a bronze finish. I have had it for 12 years and have never had any problems with its functionality. However, after a few years, the finish has started to Crack and peel and become unsightly. It has come time to replace it and it won't be Moen. I am giving the product 4 stars because of it's functionality but I'm hoping Moen will fix the peeling issue on the finish, especially at this price point.

Pretty but not Impressed
I have 3 of the Eva faucets in my bathrooms, one in the primary bathroom and two in the master bathroom. Even though the faucets are pretty and I loved that they had matching shower fixtures, I am not happy with the sink faucets. All 3 are corroded along the seam of the arc. I have tried to get the aerators out so I could clean from the inside but it's impossible with the plastic tool that comes with them.

EVA 6400 in Chrome
EVA 6400 Chrome looks great with the White Porcelain sink, goes well with the glass and chrome angle shower with Moen controls. I did change the shower handle surround and handle on the shower control in place since 1987 plus, still going strong! Dependability!

Pitting on Bath faucet Eva Brushed Nickel 6400BN
Faucets came with new Pulte home that we purchased in June 2018. One of he faucets is pitting on the back of the faucet. Would like to be contacted about warranty replacement.

I purchased the same model to replace a aprox. 5 year old faucet that was heavily corroded and leaking faucet. So far I have no complaints. Had to have my plumber install which turned into a $450+ replacement. No stars here.

Works fine, looks good. I did have the "optional plate" installed as shown in the photo.
Note, the pull up "arm" of the stopper almost takes two hands to pull up. PROBABLY the way it was installed by the plumber as initial installation had a little leak at the drain pipe connection to the Corian sink. "Readjust" by plumber no longer leaks but the pullup action requires more strength. Manageable as is.
Home Depot's pricing was outstanding, especially relative to professional supply store.

Oil-Rubbed Bronze Finish Corroded
I really do like the style, design, and functionality of this faucet, but I'm sorry to say that the finish on the area around the spout is corroding after only 6 or 7 years. It looks like the clear-coat is separating and the water getting underneath is causing the metal to corrode. It's in the downstairs guest bath, so not even heavy use, and no harsh cleaners (really only the occasional wipe-down with a rag). I have the oil- rubbed bronze, so can't speak for the other finish options. I just noticed it recently, although it looks like it’s been happening for a while. So I'll be contacting Moen under the warranty, & can only hope they come through with no problems.
