Works like it should. I cut nine 4x4 PT posts (some with screws in them due to stripped heads) using a 10" blade without issue.

Cuts through thick maple tree roots and metal
I've used the long blade to cut ~ 4" thick tree roots, and just today I used the "thin metal" blade to cut this metal light post we took out of the front yard. This blade cut through it no problem, and in no time (photo attached). I've gotten great value out of these blades so far. The case is nice too -- you could fit probably 15 or so blades in it, in case you have some other types or blades from different brands/sets.

I normally stick with Dewalt but it is a bit pricey so I decided to give Diablo a try. I was a little disappointed at its performance even compared to my used Dewalt blades. I was surprised that the used Dewalt blades still outperformed the new Diablo blades. What I found when comparing the two brands is that the Diablo blades are thicker than the Dewalt blades and may not offer the same fllexibility while maintaining strength.

Great demo sawzall blades, I have been using this brand for years. The diablo blades are some of my favorite all around blades for my work. I do a lot of demolition and remodeling and I always have my sawzall on standby. The diablo blades seem to hold up longer than other blades I have used in the past. Running through nails and other debris is no problem with this blades. Teeth stay nice and sharp and I feel these blades don’t bend as easy as some of the other cheaper brands. The free pruning blade will come in handy this spring for smaller branches and things around the yard that the cordless sawzall can handle. I pickup a couple sets of these whenever they go on sale. Would recommend to anybody.

This set includes – a plastic case, (4) 6-inch 14/18 TPI metal cutting (3/32-5/16 inch, DS0614BF) blades, (4) 6-inch 8/14 TPI general purpose/nail-embedded wood and metal (1/8-1/2 inch, DS0614BGP) blades, (4) 6-inch 6/12 TPI nail-embedded wood blades (DS0612BW), (1) 9-inch 6/12 TPI nail-embedded wood blade (DS0912BW) and (1) 9-inch 10/14 TPI blade (DS0914AFC). Also included are a pair of carbide blades - (1) 9-inch 6/9 TPI Demo Demon nail-embedded wood demolition carbide reciprocating blade and (1) 6-inch 8 TPI Steel Demon thick metal demolition carbide reciprocating blade.
These are reasonably priced for the set (approximately 30 bucks), especially if the bonus set of carbide blades is included.
I mainly got these to use the wood blades but since this provided a variety of sizes and blade types, I thought this was the best value. Unfortunately, my experience with the set hasn’t been as stellar as other individuals have indicated. The blades initially cut the wood well but two of the three wood blades I used on one wood cutting job dulled quickly and another blade broke off into the blade slot of the saw, making it real difficult to get out. I am not sure if I got a bad set or these just do not last as well as other brands, I am not sure. I switched to a Milwaukee brand blade and had no further issues.
This is a good variety of reciprocating saw blades for a reasonable price, I just wish they held up a bit better.

Diablo quickly replaced the defective blades, so I am willing to give the blades another chance as maybe I just got some bad blades.
