I used this product in my bathroom because it is a vinyl product .It did take some time to install because of obstacles but I took my time and the end result is a very warm feel .Very happy with the floor .

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Annie Excellent flooring!
We used this flooring for 2 hallways, kitchen, dining room, and a den. Not only does it look great but everyone who comes into my home thinks it is real wood plank flooring. It looks wonderful, is easy to clean, and was easy to install. We have a busy family and 2-100 lb dogs- a year later and no scratches or any other type of marring can be seen. I highly recommend this product (my floor done in cherry).

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Catluva1 Floor came unstuck
My husband and I installed the stick together vinyl boards in a 900 sq foot basement. After only 48 hours 75% of them became unstuck. We did everything the instructions told us to do. The information said they were ok for concrete basements. Apparently not. We have had very good customer service from Home Depot who volunteered to act on our behalf in getting things sorted out. An inspector was sent to our home to inspect the floor about a month ago, and we have had no contact from Allure since, despite several phone calls from Home Depot. I am about to call them myself and will follow up with this review. I would not recommend Allure.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jack We like the looks of the Country Pine even better than we thought we would.
This type flooring does cause a little clap noise when walking across it.
FYI Home Depot does not carry the trim in the store to go with the Allure flooring but it is available online.
FYI the floor being laid over must be very level. If it is not some type filler/leveling agent must be applied to create a very level floor with no low spots.
FYI in addition if laid over concrete the concrete must be sealed or a moisture barrier must be installed between the concrete and the Allure flooring.
Note: we did have the flooring laid by a professional. There were a lot of closets and door ways to be cut around so I didn't feel comfortable laying it myself.

Bought this flooring in February, installed March 2, 2015 and really love it. I installed it all by myself having never done anything like this before, I must say I had no problem cutting it or laying it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Carol Adhesive failure
Home Depot certified installer laid 2 bedroom apt in 2012. Tenant stated floor planks lifting under bed. When tenant vacated property in 2015, many planks in three rooms had lifted and or shifted. Lifting of edges and shifted planks were in areas covered by furniture, beds in both bedrooms and where there was no traffic pattern to compress adhesive regularly. Made warranty claim and independent inspector claims installation at fault. I disagree, this is clearly an adhesion failure. Waiting to get this resolved. In the meantime, new tenant moved in with really damaged floors after only 3 years.

I absolutely love cherry wood floors, but am a dog lover as well and needed a floor that was going to be resistant to scratches, and if they ever have a potty accident (while we are at work) when they are older. That is why I decided to install vinyl plank flooring in our spare bedroom and office. Laying the planks down can be time consuming at first, but should speed up after you make your ways around door frames and closets. One tip: keep your area clean. If you are cutting the vinyl planks with snips, little pieces of the floor can get stuck in other grip strips. Also, wear knee pads :)
A few months later we also installed the travertine vinyl tile in the kitchen, entryway and bathroom. We love the flooring. We have not seen any dog nail scratches, and they run all over our floors all day. The floors are easy to clean and look great. I definitely recommend Allure planks.

I do not write reviews but I am very disappointed in this floor. I purchased and installed approx 1000sqft and followed directions to the "T". I have installed all kinds of floors professionally and for my personal home and never had results like this. Nearly every plank in my living room (250sqft) is peeling up and about half in the other rooms. I tried rolling and heating and rolling and heating to no avail. I am now stuck with this. I was nervous about getting this because it seemed "to good to be true" and it was. I do not suggest this floor. Very easy but very disappointing. Is there something that can be done to help!!
