Used for a wedding candy table sign. Bought a vintage mirrored framed, popped the mirror out and used as my template. Hubby used his circular saw to cut the chalkboard. Amazed how clean and easy results. The thickness was perfect! Used a chalk marker ( bought at wal-mart) . Googled chalk fonts and away I created a beautiful sign for a fraction of the sellers prices on etsy. Received compliments at night long.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MoyaMom Great product if you don't want to use the chalk paint!
I wanted to do one of those Pinterest chalkboard things and almost used the chalkboard paint directly on my wall, but then my husband suggested this for when my kids get older and don't want to use it anymore. That way it wont be as hard to remove the chalkboard paint. I love it! Easy installation! Added the outer trim to make it "prettier"!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amanda great product, one minor suggestion...
These boards are great for the price. Very durable and you can cut them down to whatever size you need. I highly recommend them and use them often as a professional chalk artist. I have one issue, and not sure if anyone from HD reads these reviews, but the sticker is always on the black side of the board, and I've ruined more than one board trying to scrape or goo-gone it off. Could you please just put the price sticker on the back of the board?!!!

I purchased two of these for our outdoor wedding. Such a great deal! So far we've only made our welcome sign, but we'll also be making a menu sign too.
This is great for a easy DIY decor. I've seen chalkboard signs going for a much as $200. We got two for $20, can't beat it.

When making cabinets for my woodshop, I wanted something a little different. Walking the aisles of my local H.D., I came across this! Made for a GREAT cabinet face! Shows dust easily but it's a woodshop! Cust cleanly on a tablesaw. Allows me to sketch up projects right on my cabinet faces without having to leave my workspace. The uses for this are almost endless! Looking for more projects to use this in around the home & shop. Makes a great contrast to the red oak cabinet face frame.

As an artist, I use these panels for 3D works of art. It is easy to cut holes for inlaid boxes, and to use screws for assemblage pieces. The black, finished side of the chalk board, can be used on the front as a substrate for the artwork or on the back side as a nice backing for the piece. The raw side of the panels can be preserved with primer/ sealer. They are much cheaper than canvases and so much more durable and

This is actually a really good chalkboard. The chalk works and shows up well on it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jason31 Great for kitchen message board
Used this for a kitchen message center. Works great and much quicker than using the chalk board paint. Surface is durable and wipes clean with a damp paper towel. Chalk is so much cheaper than dry erase markers and won't mark up clothes or walls, if your kids get a hold of it.
