I'm very happy with these grab-bars; well-made, look great, easy to install and reasonably priced.

Glacier Bay claims their grab bars are compatible with the Wingits anchor. They are not. The hole spacing on the grab bar flange is slightly longer than that of the wingits. The anchors themselves can be made to work but the gasket is not large enough to cover both holes.

These met our needs perfectly and they are attractive.

Size of bar....when studs are 16" on center, why are the bars 18 and 24 inches? A safety item that has pulling force used -- it should be screwed into wood, not molly inserts. Other than that, the install went well -- my 95 year old mother is finding it easier to get up off the commode using the bar over the towel rack that was there and loosening on the wall.
