I love my Milwaukee auto-lock tape measure. I love the auto lock because honestly, I need it more than I don't. I also love the fractional scale. It's not that I don't know how to read a traditional tape measure and do the fractions, it's just that I love tools that make things easier/simpler. Now, I will say, I can't get remotely close to a 12' reach as advertised. It's more like 9-10 for me. But, that's not enough of an issue for me to knock down the high rating!

Never received my shipment , and when I contacted customer service they said they couldn’t help and I had to call the shipping company , the shipping company said you needed to help me not them.

Only self locked for a few weeks then not again

I use this for my everyday tape measure and it worked ok for about a week but when you use it all day for a couple weeks, it stops auto locking. Plus the tape seams to rust out fast. I am building my house and have to cut Hardie in the rain and dirt so the tape gets wet even though I use a towel every night to dry it off, still rusts out. For the price, it should be way better. This was my second tape. All my tools are Milwaukee so a little bummed I have to use another brand for my tape.

Auto lock worked for less than a month.

I brought it back and picked up the Stanley the tape measure just wasn’t smooth as it should be like a Stanley I like Milwaukee products just wasn’t for me

perfect, just what my son-in-law needed for the tool bag I also got for him. LOVE!

Like other reviews, mine stopped locking after just a few months of weekend use. I liked using it when it worked, but it's not a good tape.

Works great, I only bought this one because they were out of a cheaper one.

Absolutely love this tape so much I bought a second one after I lost my first one at a project. This second one sadly broke after a week of use… now I’m on the search for yet another

Auto lock broke so you cannot use it without locking it by your finger.

I have gotten these switch out multiple times by the milwaukee yet they say they sent me an upgraded version but the tape measures remain the same. They won’t retract, and that pretty their main feature.

Push button location and function are ridiculous. Most annoying tape measure I've ever used

its a tape measure. it has easy to read numbers, fractions in between to help and are easily readable as well. The auto locking is neat and the actual tape is a nice matte so it doesn't reflect alot of light.
