We're also very particular when it comes to our coffee quality but at the same time, we really like convenience as well. Personally, I need at least two to three cups of coffee in the morning in order to function, but I just don't have the time or alertness to manually make good coffee in the morning. My days also start extremely early because I have to commute a good distance to get to work. This is where OXO's 9-Cup Coffee Maker has become a daily necessity for me and my family's. One of the few coffee makers actually certified by the SCA, it has all the features needed to make a consistently gold-standard coffee. In order to be SCA-certified, a coffee maker must be able to always brew ground coffee beans at the consistent temperatures of 195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit, all within a certain time frame of under 8 minutes in which the water is in contact with the coffee during the pour over. This contact time-frame allows for the good flavors of the coffee to come through while minimizing the bad flavors. This coffee maker is also appealing to the eye with its stainless steel thermal carafe and sleek modern look. It fits the part in any designer kitchen and the maintenance is easy. It uses the classic cone-shaped brew basket filters which are available for purchase anywhere. Filling up the water reservoir and adding the appropriate amount of coffee grounds the day before makes it more convenient for me too. The LED interface and controls are straightforward and fully programmable with an automatic brew-start timer. I can just set it the day before and leave it and fully expect a freshly brewed carafe of coffee in the morning. Due to its double wall insulation, the coffee inside the carafe stays hot throughout the morning just in time for the rest of my family to enjoy as they rise a little later. This is a great buy if you're looking for quality, consistence, and convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OXO 9-cup coffee maker is perfection. First and foremost, the design is incredibly sleek and looks really neat! It was incredibly easy to put together and the digital clock/selector makes brewing a breeze. It takes #4 conical coffee filters, and came with 10, but we went ahead and ordered a stainless steel, reusable filter to make things easier on us and the planet. When it is brewing, you can see the water bubbling up, and the coffee goes into a stainless steel, insulated carafe that keeps the coffee hot for hours. I love that it doesn’t heat from the bottom, so you can put the carafe on any surface without having to worry. It comes with a scoop so that you can measure out the coffee according to how many cups you plan on making. The coffee is perfectly brewed every time! We are obsessed!

Ever since the single serve coffee machines was released, I haven’t use a drip coffee pot. The OXO 9 cup coffee maker has became my favorite over the single serve. First of all it looks nice and elegant. Not too bulky, somewhat slim and tall. It’s easy to figure out what parts needed to be placed where they go. It’s easy to wipe and clean up. I love that the coffee pot is stainless steel and not glass. It comes with a coffee scoop for measuring your coffee. My second favorite thing about it is that it’s programmable for the time and amount of coffee you want to make. The coffee doesn’t take long to brew and I like watching it brew actually. So to some it all up. This is a great coffee pot and I recommend it. I’m even looking into getting one for my mom I know she will love it!!

Coffee aside the stainless steel and glass body unit looks quite sophisticated and brings a great look on the kitchen counter. This coffee maker is really easy to use with its intuitive single dial button and easy refill water tank. The special stainless steel flask also keeps the coffee warm for a long time! Use your choice of coffee grounds and say hello to great coffee drinking experience!

The double wall carafe keeps my coffee hot longer but the carafe doesn't feel hot on the outside. My coffee tastes amazing.

It has a sleek design that looks great on my counter top and the stainless steel matches my appliances. The shower head feature simulates poor-over coffee to give my coffee an extra flavor boost. It has a button where you can choose between 2 and 9 cups of coffee, your coffee is made at the right temperature and I love how the water rains down evenly over the coffee grounds to give you the best cup of coffee. The only downside is the cord to plug it up is not long enough for me. I highly recommend this awesome coffee maker.

The rainmaker shower head technology evenly disperses the water over the coffee grounds, and I can’t believe the difference this makes in the fresh flavor. The stainless steel thermal carafe really keeps the coffee hot too. And no messy drips and spills when pouring- it’s designed flawlessly. The sleek and modern design are pretty cool too- looks great on my kitchen counter. I’m a huge coffee snob and am grateful to have found the perfect brewer for me. This is the best and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this coffee maker for two weeks now. It replaces an old one that we got about 5 years ago. It’s by far the highest quality cup of coffee that I’ve ever brewed at home and it rivals some coffee houses near us. Setup: it took about 15 minutes to set the machine up, wash the parts, and read the instructions. Then we were ready to brew. Operation: measure and add water and grounds , add a filter, push a button and coffee is ready in about 4 minutes. An 8 cup run took 12 minutes to completely brew. The coffee sits HOT in the metal carafe which was super hot for another 30 minutes after brewing. Cleanup: throw out filter with grounds, wash carafe and it’s done. Super simple.

It is also a plus that the thermal carafe eliminates the need for a heating pad. The waterfall brewing system does somehow make the coffee taste better as well. I love the sleek look of this coffee pot...looks great on my counter

The coffee maker comes with a double wall insulated carafe to keep the coffee nice and hot. The coffee maker uses the cone shaped filters. You can set the brewer so your coffee is ready when you wake up in the morning. I would recommend this Coffee Maker.

I didn’t think the actual machine would be as tall it is. You definitely have to pull it out to add water and your coffee, but that’s minor stuff lol. I love the smell, taste an over all appearance of the coffee maker! I love the fact that it automatically makes my coffee in the morning, and it stay HOT, so when I get home I can relax with a cup. Its very easy to use, so my parents and in-laws are able to use it as well. This is definitely a coffee maker you would want to buy! Great for a gift, office use or at home!

I have been a keurig fan for a while due to the ease of the k-cups and one cup at a time but my husband recently started drinking coffee and we really enjoy our new coffee maker! The sleek design makes this coffee maker look very high end and it doesn’t take up much counter space which we love! The flavor of the coffee is awesome and there wasn’t a residual rubber taste after we ran a water cycle through it about 5 times. We absolutely love our new coffee maker!

I love watching the bubbles in the tube while brewing! This pot comes with 10 coffee filters and when you use them all it only requires the #4 filters The glass and stainless steel looks beautiful. I love being able to brew the amount of coffee that fits my day/life, you can brew 2-4 cups or 5-9 cups. The pot pours so smoothly and keeps the coffee hot for a long period of time. The digital screen looks amazing and is extremely easy to use. The type is very easy to read with larger letters. My coffee honestly tastes so clean and so smooth! OXO knocked this 9 cup coffee maker out of the park and I know anyone would be happy to display this on their counter and use it everyday! I have no negatives because this coffee pot is everything I have ever wanted in my morning coffee!!

No messy clean ups or water spilling everywhere. Easy to add water and grounds. Ih and the wake up timer works like a charm. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For my household we are big coffee drinkers and we were recently in the market for a new coffee makes and when I saw this I was super excited, mainly because we were using a single serve coffee maker and found that it wasn't really cutting it for the amount of coffee we drank. For starters this is a really cool coffee maker, when you fill up the water to make the coffee and heat it up sucks up the heated water into the area where it filters into the insulated pot and the only way to describe the look is like a lava lamp, where bubbles of water rise out through the center. Though it does take a little while for a pot of coffee to be made the way it's heat, I found because it very gradually fills the filter with coffee it allows a more robust flavor that's full and also cuts a lot of bitterness for some coffees. Another great thing about this maker is you can set a timer so when you wake you can wake up to fresh coffee and it will even keep your coffee heat for an hour with the coffee maker itself, though honestly with the way the pot is insulated it will keep it hot for much longer. For me the only thing that threw me off about the coffee maker is where it has where you can pick your coffee cup amount to be made I found it basically didn't matter which selection you made because it basically just sucked all the water you filled the machine up with, but otherwise it makes great coffee so it wasn't a deal break for me. Over all I would definitely recommend this coffee maker.

It doesn't have the geat pad that makes the coffee taste burnt but the craft keeps it good and hot. I love my coffee fresh and this coffee maker delivers that. When I do a review I like to point out an area that could use improvement, however, I'm not sure I have anything. I like the design and how simple it is to use. So I think I'll just leave it at that with two thumbs up.

Initial thought while in the box was that this coffee maker was very fancy and it might be confusing! After unboxing it and setting it up I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was. No major issues with setting up at all. Just plug it in and add water and coffee in the correct areas and hit the button to start a brew. It didn't take long to finish and I enjoyed a hot cup of coffee. It wasn't scalding hot but just the right temperature. Clean up was simple with the proper coffee filters. I definitely like the simplicity of this coffee machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a pretty good coffee maker. Quite, quick brewing, and easy to use. Granted the controls take a little to get used to. This machine makes good strong coffee, and the last cup out of carafe taste just as good as the first. This is also a very sleek looking machine that looks great out on the counter top. The only issues I have with the machine is that the carafe is not dishwasher safe and it only holds 9 5oz cups. Higher capacity would be nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box it was obvious that this coffee maker is a quality piece of equipment. It has a sleek, contemporary design that I love, and it performs exactly the way I want it to. As you would expect, assembly is extremely easy, helped by the clear and concise instruction booklet. I was happy to see that a small supply of filters was supplied which meant I could commence brewing right away. Never having had a stainless steel thermal carafe before, I was looking forward to seeing how it performed in terms of freshness and hotness compared to my previous coffee maker. Even after a couple of hours, the coffee had remained as hot and fresh as when it was first brewed. The taste of the coffee also seemed to be superior. The machine and its components means that the overall height is more than I envisaged. I can fit the unit under my kitchen cupboards on the work surfaces below, but what I cannot do is open the compartment lids to add both water and coffee. This problem, however, can be solved by pulling the unit forward each time. The controls are very easy to use, even the programmable timer. It is handy to be able to choose between 2-4 cups or 5-9 cups as you do not always want to make a full pot. If you want to make more coffee when you have guests, and because the thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot, a second carafe is a possibility. I am looking into purchasing a second pot. This coffee maker is a winner in my opinion. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly it makes a great cup of coffee that retains a good temperature in the thermal carafe. I would definitely recommend it as I am very pleased with it.

This is by far the best coffee pot I have ever owned. The coffee doesn't take long to brew and stays hot for hours! I even used it to make hot water for my children to enjoy a cup of hot Chocolate! I loved the fancy design, time display, the brew alarm works wonderful. I especially loved the bubbles that go up the center tube in the water! You get the worlds best cup of coffee right at home every morning everytime!

I like that it keeps my coffee hot while I get ready for work and get kids going in the morning. I love the love and color of the coffee maker and it cleans very easily. The only thing would be I would like to make just 1 cup sometimes due to me being the only one that day drinking it. Definitely recommend and absolutely love this coffee maker.

It came just in time for Thanksgiving and I had 5 people over. It’s so nice to have coffee brewing while still with your guests, usually I have to french press which takes a while. I love how compact it is for being able to make so many cups and I do love the way it looks on my counter. My galley kitchen lacks counter space but while this is long, it doesn’t stick out that much so I don’t lose a lot of room. Like how fabulous is this in my kitchen? The coffee came out really smooth and brew time isn’t that long. So happy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great quality coffeemaker. It is super quiet when brewing. It brews fairly fast. It comes with a coffee scoop and some filters. It only has one button that controls everything. It was super easy to operate. You can make between 2-9 cups of coffee. It keeps the time of day for you with 12hr or 24hr option. It has a timer up to 60 minutes that tells you how long your coffee has been brewed for. You can also program the timer to brew coffee at a specific time every day. It also let's you know when it's time to descale your coffeemaker. I love how the pot is not glass also because I have had a couple mishaps with glass pots before. Everything is made of high quality material. All of the metal components do not feel hot to the touch either. I would high reccomend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot believe everything thing this coffee pot has to offer, it has so many features (my favorite is the removable rainmaker shower head-used to extract the flavor) and it is so easy to use that I use this coffee pot more than the “other” pot that only requires me to put in a pod. I love the look of this machine, it does not take up a lot of space it actually takes up less. I would buy this for any coffee lover who wants to go back to the old way that coffee was made with a modern twist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually love everything OXO. However, I didn't love everything about this coffee maker. First, let's start with the wonderful features of it. It's a gorgeous and sleek coffee maker that looks wonderful on each kitchen counter. It's also fun to watch the coffee maker in action as the water gets pulled up and over to the coffee grounds. Additionally, I love the clock and ability to set a timer for it to make me a cup of hot coffee. It's a wonderful morning time saver. I also like being able to select how many cups of coffee I want it to make. The one huge thing keeping me from giving this a better score is the rubber used in it. There's a rubber piece that moves the water from the left side over to the coffee grounds and there's another piece inside the carafe. I ran the machine was water only and washed the various parts before making a cup of coffee. However, it tasted like rubber! I've made several more cups of coffee and even removed the rubber piece from the carafe and my coffee still has a rubber taste to it. I also had a problem with the cone filters that came with the machine as 2 of them simply fell apart! The first time, the machine simply allowed the grounds to enter into the carafe and subsequently the entire pot was ruined! The second time, it contained most of the grounds to the machine, but it was still a mess to clean up. If it weren't for the rubber used, I would be in love with this machine. Maybe I just got a stronger rubber in my machine, but I wouldn't recommend this coffee maker as it is.
