Used this paint to paint the underside of an aluminum patio cover. Within a month it was covered with mold. Cleaned it with bleach and water, in a month it was moldy again. Very disappointed, I thought rustoleum was the way to go to paint metal for outdoors.

I use Rust-Oleum with almost all my metal projects. After properly priming the metal this paint covers well with a durable long lasting finish that looks good!

Meet my spectations. Good cover and protection. Easy of use. Always used on my projects.

It went on smooth and easy, clean up from spills was easy as well.

I did take the time to properly remove the worst of the existing rust on a huge steel structure (old mezzanine) prior to painting, and this coating makes it look brand new! It's tough stuff (resisted scratching as I dragged it 200' across the ground to the assembly site) and it should last many years. I've had very good experiences with Rustoleum over many years of use. Worth the money!

This glosas hunter green protective enamel paint is very good and I recommend this product.

Inside OK. But received both very damaged out side.. the product is great.

This is a wonderful product I was painting a whole storage, the paint match one by one, can by can, only have one observation: a five gallons could be better for big projects like mine. Excellent

There are some places that only oil based paint will work. I tried to find a porch paint that would be durable enough for high traffic and direct sunlight and most of them are hybrids and not pure oil based. I put this on some older treated wood and so far I am very happy with it. I also sprayed thompson's water seal first and let it dry for three days prior to putting this down so it would adhere well. Very important to sand off old chipped paint and clean the surface very well prior to coating it with anything. For my project it will require 3 coats due to the age and cracking of the wood.

I used this paint to paint my 3 yr. old deck. It took 3 coats to cover the cracks and weathering but it looks great. I know I have to repaint in another 3 yrs. but the protection is worth the time.

I really like this paint I cut it and ran through a low pressure paint gun our painting project is an eye magnet with people really liking what we did with rust-oleum.

Great product. Used to paint a surface rusted trailer and am proud of the outcome. Used the black for one and the red for another. Very messy to clean if you get on your skin but its oil based (what do you expect). Will be buying from now on, used 3-4" brush for applying on trailer.

Rolled it onto old patio furniture and it looked new. Dried in five hours in time for a cookout that evening. Good product.

Used product to repaint wrought iron fence. Excellent finish using HVLP sprayer. Nice flow and leveling with beautiful semigloss finish. The fence is 6 years old and the old satin black finish was oxidizing. Looks like a brand new fence. I reduced the paint with paint thinner about 10% to make it spray nicely. Very pleased. Would put this up against any other alkyd paint. I worked for a major paint company for many many years. This is an excellent product.

With this product unlike other oil based, there is a major rub off after painted. It does look like aluminum and has a great sheen to it. But, if you wipe your hand across it, the color will transfer, and the sheen on the wall will alter, rubbing with cloth to clean will also remove sheen and you will have to repaint. This is a apply in an area where contact it minimal.

Great paint. I mixed it 1:1 with Rustoleum safety red to make a great looking rust colored paint.

I use rust - oleum paint on most of my steel projects.

I had an old truck that the paint was fading off and wanted a cheap fix. I thinned it just a little to spray and I was very happy with the results.

Stands up to the 4 seasons of weather, and lasts for many years.

I was no pun intended "On The fence" on whether to paint or replace our chain link fence. My wife and I decided to paint the fence for cost reasons. I was unsure how much Rust-Oleum I would need for the 120 ft of 5 foot high chain link project. We used 1 1/2 long nappy rollers and brushed the paint onto the rollers with a brush then applied to the fence. 1 gallon completed the whole project with room to spare. I purchased 5 cans of Rust-Oleum Aluminum Professional spray paint to paint the poles and rails. Now we have a brand new fence for about $75.

Applied Rust oleum Primer to trailer and Zinsser primer to sides, then coated all with Rust oleum paint. All paint went on easily and gave coverage as indicated on can. Dry times also matched the can. The only thing I noticed was the first few days paint seemed to abrade easily, but has hardened over time. Don't recommend you put your item to use as soon as the paint dries, give a few days to harden. "Little Red" looks as good as new. Hope you like bright colors.

Great product covers well. And dry's really quick. One coat and your done.

We used this on one of our trucks to make the black metal look new again. It looks nice and made the truck look years newer.

We are auto Reconditioning. We use this product to paint the frames of trucks. Weather the frames are heavy rusted or not at all this procuct makes them all look new.

The painters did a great job with this product and the red color enhanced our community common pool area.

Home Depot needs more oil paint selection since this is Hawaii. This is the only one they now have. Works great bit colors would be nice
