We were shopping for a washer and dryer set and the sales associate in appliances was very cordial and knowledgeable about the products. We were able to purchase and arrange for delivery and installation in a short period of time. All of the employees we interacted with at the store were friendly and helpful.

I had excellent cutomer service from Matthew in Hardware at the Ankeny, Iowa store. He was friendly on the phone, answering all of my questions. He is the reason I chose Home Depot to purchase my garage door and the reason I chose the Ankeny, Iowa store.

Store is one of the better ones. Clean and not very much boxes in aisles. Employees are nice and respectful especially cashiers

We were welcomed as we entered the store. We told them what we were looking for and they directed us to where we should go to find the electric stoves. Our associate was very helpful and friendly. He knew exactly which stove we were talking about and set up our order and told us when we would get it at our home.

Operational Assistant Store Manager Gerald Moothart was extremely helpful making my purchase, went above and beyond.

We went in to Home Depot to look into getting a new fridge and stove. Gerald the manager helped us with our purchase and was FANTASTIC! He went above and beyond in helping us decide which brand and gave us his honest opinion on what we were looking into buying. We will definitely be back and We will be looking for him to help us with any future purchases!

Excellent selection and the staff here is absolutely wonderful! Helped me with everything and even took the time to walk me to the aisle/sections i was looking for and even helped me make a decision on which version of the air ratchet i wanted.

This location is our go-to for tools, materials, garden supplies, etc. We shop here fairly regularly for our home & business needs. The store is always clean, well-stocked & the staff has always been knowledgeable & friendly. Highly recommend the Home Depot store in Ankeny!

We were at the Ankeny store to buy a dishwasher. Met Gerald Moothart and was well taking care of. Had answers for our questions and help us find the appliances that met our needs. Very professional salesman. I will return later to purchase a stove. Thank you Gerald.

The staff at the Ankeny Home Depot are always helpful. I usually need wood cut and they are always ready to help.

I love this store. It is neat and well organized and you can find what you're looking for. I go on the website to find what I'm looking for and to find out exactly where what I want is located in the store. If I'm in a time squeeze I don't spend time trying to find it, I already know right where it is. If I'm not in a hurry I like to stroll the aisles and look at all the gizmos and gadgets I didn't know I needed. There is always something new or nifty to see.

Very clean and well organized store! What sets this store apart from other big box competitors is the Customer Service!!! They allow dogs in the store which is awesome. My pup was loved on by just about everyone working throughout the whole store! I was offered assistance in finding items and given detailed information regarding different options on similar products. At check out the cashier was very friendly and helped me with my pup so I could pay with my card. Everyone went above and beyond!!!

First I was sent to two stores to pick up my order on opposite sides of town. Why? If that wasn't annoying enough, they then weren't able to fulfill their own installation contracts. Waited over two days for a phone call that never came. Simply sad! Then when I called the store to find out why, I got rude unprofessional argumentative employees that didn't know how to do their jobs. Yep cancelled that job before that unprofessionalism entered my house.

I would strongly suggest avoiding this location if you’re looking for any assistance with your shopping experience. I’ve been a long time customer, but no longer. I was told a freezer “isn’t that heavy” when I asked for assistance loading on a cart. I was not offered loading assistance at the register. I was shopping alone, it is not a small item. This is super frustrating!!

Store have good price

The employees are very friendly, helpful and available to assist. Being a military veteran, they always thank me for my service. I like that Home Depot offers a 10% veteran discount off my purchases. If I make a large purchase, they offer to help me out to my car with my items.

Margaret in customer service was great, helped me place an on-line order when I didn't know how, was very patient with an old guy trying to join the 21st century

A wonderful customer support team at this store. I'm alway's greeted and assisted with my purchase needs.

Riley was awesome!! Lumber was not his dept. but he helped us anyway and helped loaded it as well. Riley did not try to pawn us off to the next guy. He was very polite and thoughtful.
