Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store cut energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like solar and wind.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment and our communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

We also offer hands-on learning and expert advice at our DIY workshops, with topics tailored to everyone in your family, including workshops for kids, which provide a spirited environment mixing creativity and fun.

Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?
Yes, the E Spokane store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am-noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.
How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?
