I went to Home Depot to buy certain items I needed for work around my residence during the upcoming holiday. Everything I needed was in stock and easily found.

The staffs are very helpful which makes my shopping much easier especially being a 1st time home owner :)

I’m thankful there’s a Home Depot in my neighborhood. There’s just so many things there that you can’t find elsewhere. And I so appreciate the fact that it’s normally well stocked and fits my needs completely

There are times when the store is busy and you can't find any help, but you can go to the cashier or customer service and they will make a radio call and make some one will get to you.

Employees always go above and beyond for me when I’m here. So helpful!

Home Depot has something of a reputation of having sales staff who lack handyman skills and thus cannot answer questions about basic hardware tasks. The Evanston Home Depot has an above average handyman quotient in their sales staff. I had a wiring task to complete recently and learned all I needed to know from one of the sales staff. Bravo!

I bought some tiles at the Lincoln Avenue store which we forgot to pick up. "Noemi" always helps me out and she went above and beyond to remedy this. She refunded my account and told me the Evanston store had my tiles since they no longer carried them. "Stan" at the Evanston store assisted me and was great! Both of them should be commended.

I visit the Evanston store 20 times a week. It is easy to navigate. The employees are informed and helpful. Assistance with loading is sometimes difficult to find.

As a contractor, I make many purchases each week at various vendors. The staff at the Evanston Home depot are courteous and helpful and many greet me by name. It's great to know they care.

This store always does me well. I’m always satisfied with my purchase. I wasn’t greeted by a lady at the door when I walked in and I said hello but that’s alright, I’m an overall satisfied customer and I will be back.

I found that employees in both the hardware department and electrical department assisted me in locating what I needed and a cashier was so helpful in assisting me through the self checkout

Evanston Home Depot is the best

Wow!! I got great service in the paint department this morning! I needed to find a quart of paint to finish my kitchen in a mango color. Two people in the paint department walked me through the whole process. They were so helpful. One person was training and the guy was so helpful to her and to me. The girl was so sweet and they both made my day. I walked out of there with exactly what I needed to finish my kitchen project!

Understaffed. It takes longer to get someone to help you checkout than to find what you came in for. I go to this Home Depot often and always encounter an issue where I can’t get help when needed. I had an item at self checkout that would not scan. The attendant was less than 5 feet away and they ignored me trying to get their attention and continued talking with their friend. There was only one cashier lane open and they were checking someone with 2 carts of stuff and I had 4 small items. I eventually moved to the cashier lane to wait since the self checkout attendant refused to help me. There’s a Lowe’s not far away from this location that has more staff and better attends to their customers. I go there when I can now.

Employees were very helpful. Asked if I needed help when was looking at some grills. My cashier was very friendly and courteous and helped me with my purchase. She made me feel very important. After my purchase chicago Young Jhareh The Timing to meet me outside to help put the grill in my car. Without me even asking for help. The store was clean.

Some employees are horrible (lady at the service desk, and all the other employees at the service desk who didn't care that I was getting no help) and some are just wonderful, like Lisa the head cashier, and the two young men that helped me in the garden center. Thank you.
