Miserable place to shop with a lack of knowledgeable and competent staff.

Clean, always well staffed. My wife and I are true 'DIYers' as we have a limited budget. With the help of the tools, knowledge of staff and supply we managed to build a room and to re do our kitchen! We saved money, got great service and overall turned what looked as a nightmare to an adventure

Store should expand its phone and online ordering options, particularly deliveries. I no longer drive, but when I did, I loved comng to this store and always got great service. This store has great stock at reasonable prices.

Love shopping here, would like to know what happen to Military signs for parking.

Had a fantastic experience at store #1902 in Evanston! Geraldine & Robert, as well as some other folks throughout the store, were super friendly and helpful. The store was fairly busy and was still able to receive top notch service. Thanks Geraldine, Robert and store #1902 team!!

I choose not to offer a review of the store. Is this how you treat customers who take the time to fill out your lengthy survey but choose not to offer a review of the store? Not allow all the completed earlier survey questions to be submitted? If that happens, screw you folks and any future surveys, and further visits to your store, anywhere. You really know how to needlessly antagonize a periodic customer.

The Evanston store, though not as big in size and merchandise selection (such as Lincolnwood) is normally well stocked and has a very fine group of associates will to help if needed. They are very knowledgeable concerning the store and their area that they service. The store is generally well run. I like shopping there most.

Have been using this Home Depot for the past twenty years. The store is easy to navigate compared to the other stores in the area. The Customer Service Specialists are always efficient and provide help with a good attitude.

The electrical/lighting product for which I was looking was not in electrical but rather in automotive. After going around in circles for a while, I asked for help. The employee who finally helped me told me that those aisles had been rearranged, but the signage had not been updated. Several times in October and November, when I visited the store, I was unable to find any staff to help me. Even when the cash register staff paged someone to help me, no one arrived, and after a few minutes, I began going up and down the aisles myself. One time, when I did find someone to help me, they did not take time to understand what I was looking for and recommended the wrong product, which I bought but had to return. This happened twice, for the same product until I was finally able to get the correct advice. The staff were nice enough but, on those occasions, just unavailable or unhelpful. But since this store is in my neighborhood, there is no point in going to the Home Depot in another town because I figure the problems will be the same there anyway.

I've been very disappointed and frustrated the last 2 times that I shopped at this Home Depot. Customer Service is virtually nonexistent anymore and it is a challenge finding someone to ask for help in locating items.

great service and customer dedication in sales completion

I usually shop here in the evenings, and it's difficult to find sales help -- there are very few store associates in the aisles. I have to spend 10 minutes wandering around looking for someone. Also, I despise self-checkout, which is now the only option at this store. I'm not a Home Depot employee -- If I have to scan my own items, they should pay me, not the other way around
