I was in this store about a year ago and noticed a tremendous difference from then. More staff, willing to engage the customer, ample inventory and an all around atmosphere of “ we are here to serve you” . Much impressed!

Great experience with Mark in plumbing - very knowledgeable about what I needed and provided some really helpful advice. Everyone in the store was helpful and friendly - what a great experience!

Went to Home Depot today to get another can of paint for a project I was working on. The paint dept. worker was awesome…..tinted my paint quickly, and was very pleasant. Got to the register to pay, and noticed that there was not a single register other than “self serve” open. There was a couple ahead of us, and the young man overseeing the self serve registers took them to a regular register to ring up their purchase. We got in line behind them, and he advised that we’d have to “go to the self serve registers….he was ringing them up because they were paying by check.” SERIOUSLY??? It was 2:30 in the afternoon, and there were employees all over…..and you’re telling me that not one could open a register? Not good, Home Depot! If I could have gotten the paint somewhere else, I would have walked out. Good old Customer Service appears to be a thing of the past!

Shop here all the time and employees are always great to deal with!

We are in the process of upgrading our home and shop in the Gloucester store frequently to purchase the supplies needed to complete our projects. The store is very clean, shelves are full, merchandise is easy to locate, employees are very knowledgeable and helpful without having to ask for help, and checkout is fast. I can’t ask for a more enjoyable place to shop.

I bought kitchen countertops &cabinets.Had a great experience!! Terasa & Mel were great,they helped me through the entire process and made me feel comfortable. They both rock and I will visit that store again for my next project

We couldn’t have been happier with our experience purchasing a refrigerator! Sales lady took all the time to help us find the right fridge…knowledgeable and friendly. Feel as if we made a new friend. Pick up was amazing, as well. They had our product wrapped and waiting for our truck to arrive the next morning. They loaded it on the truck and we were off…quickest / most polite pick up ever. We are so very pleased with your store! Thank you.

Went in to get a screen door. Customer service was out of this world. Everyone was super helpful. The screen door works great too.

My husband takes forever to get to home improvement projects so I decided to let Home Depot do it. We picked out the doors we wanted online then heading to HD. With the storm door we were to picking BUT Katrina showed us her favorite and it was perfect!!! We have 11 feral cats that have destroyed our screen but this door cop seals the screen!!! You only see the screen when you lower the top window!!! Installer came quickly to measure and soon we will have two new professionally installed! New side door next!

Easier to find products and employees are very nice and helpful.

It’s all about the people. The people at the Glouster Home Depot are the nicest and most helpful you will find anywhere. And special kudos to Mel !!

This past Saturday, the 10th of September, I needed assistance in Hardware to purchase a locked up Rigid cordless circular saw. I asked a Cashier for assistance and within a short couple of minutes, Talyor (I could have her name wrong, could be Tanja), was so polite and helpful. I do remember that she must be a new hire because she did not have a "years" patch. She even apologized for not getting to me faster because she was helping another customer. Give her a Homer Award!

While we visited the store to pick up some paint for a remodeling job, the sales associate (Tracy) from the flooring department went above and beyond her role to assist us in the paint department.

I would like to share the employee's names that made me feel like a queen for a day at Home Depot. They were helpful and kind beyond my expectations. Thumbs up to MARCUS, LEELA and KATINA they are awesome.

Their kitchen designer is very knowledgeable and helpful. Associates in all departments have approached us and offered to help us find items. We are renovating our kitchen and bathrooms, buying appliances and numerous related items. Very pleased with Home Depot selection & services.

They are always so friendly and helpful, never dropping the ball. I'd like to know management's secret.

I have made many trips to our Gloucester Va store since spring has sprung and it has definitely become my “go-to” for not only household items but all of my lawn and beautiful flowers I found there. Also just purchased a raised garden bed from HD. They had all of things needed to get it all set up. So excited to put everything together and get these veggies growing!

Paula, appliance specialist helped us with our purchase for a washer and dryer. She is very informative and patient with the questions we had and helped us save money.....thank you Paula!

I had the best experience at Home Depot (Gloucester, Va location) today! I went in expecting to buy some materials for a craft project - a small fence/prop that I would use as a backdrop for Easter photos at our church’s Easter egg hunt. I am a novice but I had photos and instructions from a craft blog that I thought I might be able to follow. Well, I had the good fortune to run into Greg, the store manager who jumped right in to help me. When I had more questions he directed me to Rob who not only showed me exactly what I needed, but literally built the project for me once I purchased the materials!! Now all I have to do is paint it and set it up!! I am so excited & happy with the results, it’s better than I could have ever imagined - and the kids are going to love it. I felt like I really received a blessing today! I can’t express enough how grateful I am… thanks to ALL the staff- every employee who passed by and saw me standing alone as Rob gathered materials offered to assist me. Someone’s doing something right here, these guys rock! Thanks,Greg and Rob for your patience and kindness, you are the best! Will be posting photos of my fence soon!

I routinely bypass all the local home improvement stores to visit and buy from the Gloucester Home Depot. Their customer service, including their friendly staff, is just the best!

Had a kitchen appliance that went bad, and was able to get help in the department within mins. In and out of the store in about 20 mins after talking about size and price and all the different models that would work.

The store employee really knows the appliances and delivery process and warranty information. He made purchasing an appliance very easy and stress-free.

I WAS SHOPPING FOR A SPECIAL AIR FILTER FOR MY HOME AND A YOUNG MAN STOPPED STOCKING AND ASKED IF HE COULD HELP. HE FOUND 2 CHOICES FOR ME RIGHT AWAY.

I like this store as they have larger cans of Brush Cleaner & paint supplies. Here lately they have more employees there to help you find what you need quickly.

They have everything there that I need in my job job occupation to help with me and my friends in their services services at home
