I had a great shopping experience and received assistance from a very knowledgeable employee at the paint desk. I went into the store with a very basic understanding of what I needed for my home improvement projects and came out of the store feeling as if I had a much greater understanding. Thanks to the expertise of this employee, my projects went very well and I'm very satisfied with this experience! The store was very clean as well and products were easy to find.

We have been doing several renovation projects in our home the last year and we have truly appreciated the assistance from staff, friendly cashiers and items are always available for what we need.

Every employee has a wonderful knowledge of their store. It is not hard to find an employee, and I have never found an employee that passed me to another associate. These employees care and it shows!

I was looking for a stain to match my table and I was having trouble choosing the right one. I really wanted to get the color/finish right because I haven't had good luck with stains in the past. Travis went above and beyond to help me. He saw I was having trouble, proactively offered to help me, and took the time and effort to 3 different finishes, testing a small amount on a paint stick for me. We determined that the gel stain seemed to work best, which wasn't even on my radar. Travis took the guess work out of choosing, saving me time, and preventing a return. Travis' service was exemplary and I hope that he gets the recognition he deserves.

All, with the exception of the mgr, at the help desk, were great. If we see her working, we'll just quietly leave, and go somewhere else.

Have good experience at this location normally. Shop there regularly and always find staff friendly and helpful! Highly recommend..

Associates in general all throughout the store are almost always very friendly and merchandise knowledgeable - or they refer you correctly to the associate who know how to help you!

I've been shopping at this location since we moved to the Hampton Road area in 2005 and I appreciate the variety of stock; prices; great customer service; and military discounts!

Each and every time that I shop at the home depot I am approached by the nicest, courteous employees. It is such a pleasure to shop at this establishment. It is a joy when I see employees who take pride in what they do best. That is to treat each and every customer with dignity and respect.

This location has some of the most helpful and energizing associates! I was really stressing buying carpet for the entire house and The female (i can't remember her name) was very knowledgeable and answered my questions correctly based upon my research before going to the store. I was able to pick my carpet, select my padding and felt confident about my purchase. I returned the next day to the store because I did not receive my military discount and Shakeena and Julie were superb in assisting me. The were upbeat, knowledgeable and engaging. All my encounters made this large purchase much easier, reduced my stress and made it an outstanding customer experience. Thank you!

This store is always clean even the Restrooms are clean. Employees are very helpful and friendly.

This store is awesome. I had just come from a competitor looking for 2 ft by 8 foot wooden lattice that they did not have, but the HD did have. Everything at the Home Depot seems 'new' fresh and clean. Aisles seem to have been reworked to make them more roomy, and the Aisle Signage is in extremely clear English using an uncluttered large easy to read font. And the staff were as usual very helpful and friendly.

Although the online product I purchased turned out to be the wrong one (their fault, not mine), the customer service staff were friendly and helpful. A bit disorganized but generally a good experience. Stock is well done, they have plenty of helpful employees that are willing to give their time and assistance. Best thing about this store is the people.
