Store has consistently blocked and locked fire doors thus removing the breakout safety in these doors. That creates a real safety hazard. When questioned, a guy who claimed to be the store manager told me to mind my own business and that I’m an idiot. Will never go back there

My husband and I found fabulous Christmas decorations for a Homeless Shelter in Newark, NJ that we support. We had so much fun! Grateful to Chris who helped us. He was amazing and is an outstanding ambassador for Home Depot.

If you are in the market for a large appliance, go to West Main Street and ask for help from Elaine Tracey. She is extremely knowledgeable, has a great service ethic with no pressure to make an immediate purchase.

Home Depot Pro desk salesperson Jeff G. was the differentiating factor for me. He was a true professional and was super helpful. I ended up buying a dishwasher and a stackable washer/dryer today. Jeff G. helped me use my HD Pro cash rewards and made the overall shopping experience quite smooth. I will be returning to Stamford Home Depot solely because of him. I've been shopping at various Home Depots for years but never experienced such a superb customer service like the one I got from Jeff G.

Came in for a cast iron and the team especially Naomi was very sweet & helpful! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable and had great food recommendations for my cast iron pan!

I recently had to purchase something at the Stamford. Home Depot parking was available on the entered the store I was greeted people smile at me that work there. The store was clean. Everything was neat and tidy. I needed some help to have something custom cut. I looked up a gentleman said can I help you? He smiled said yes we can do. It gave me a couple options very friendly we even talked. He was a retired truck driver I don’t recall his name, when I went to get to the cashier, young gentleman greeted me, said come right over here. I’d be glad to help you with a smile. He rang it up, explaining what the charges were with the tax I paid him on a credit card. He then looked at me and said, thank you so much for coming to our store. If you ever need anything, we’re here with a smile, it was genuine .

I was searching for options to renovate/update my bathrooms and looked at many choices online then decided to visit Home Depot to look at their options, and walked out feeling great that I had gone there before I decide. Now they have my contract.

I went there one week for a stove light when I walked on I was directed to the right place and I still was lost but a worker asked if I needed help and in seconds I had my light. I went back for some lumber and again the customer service was excellent. They got my lumber and cut it to my exact measurements.

Employees at the Stamford Home Depot transform a chore into a pleasant "outing" by their attitude. My thanks to the cheerful employees who gather the shopping carts, and ask if I need help carrying anything, to the knowledgeable employees in each department, to the incredibly helpful and caring people in Customer Service!

I bought an item on 12/24 for Christmas and tried to return it on 1/28 and was told I was outside the 30 day return policy and could not get a refund. Not only that I was told I couldn’t get a store credit. There was two items I bought that day each one had a different return policy.

I was able to find everything I was looking for, and the employees were all very helpful.

Erica turned what could have been a disastrous experience and waste of hours in the lighting aisle into a positive outcome. She went above-and-beyond to solve the problem, wouldn’t give up, and was so pleasant and nice - even as she worked herself into a sweat. Best HD visit ever.

Everyone was helpful at the store and items are logically laid out for shoppers to easily find. Also had garden center area blocked off to vehicle traffic so we could shop without worrying about cars constantly coming through.

Shay Forte in kitchens is AMAZING! She made the whole experience feel customized and really heard all my needs. She also quickly grasped the aesthetic we're going for with our kitchen and bathroom projects. Thank you Shay!

Neat and clean. Well stocked. The millwork specialist wasn't very nice, but you can't have everything.

I had a great experience with the design of my kitchen countertop and backsplash. My design consultant Shay Forte was wonderful. I will add photos when the kitchen is done. I also bought a new stove and microwave. To be delivered...in March.

It’s nice and big store but not enough staff

I had a large online order with some issues. The team were friendly and worked hard to help me sort it out. Every trip to the store has been pleasant largely due to the professional and helpful staff (2022/2023)
