Employees are very helpful and polite, which makes the shopping experience very positive. Store is well-stocked. I also very much appreciated that the store provides curbside pickup during COVID, which was especially appreciated prior to the vaccine rollout! All around, a great store.

I only go to this store if I have no other choice. Most of the employees I have dealt with are rude and incompetent. Will drive out of my way to go to another location where the employees are much more polite and professional.

Garrick in painting is amazing, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, a super genuine personality, who helped me with definitive advice. Other staff simply saw that I was looking for something, and came right up to ask me what I needed. It was a great store--not like others I've been to over the years.

Clean, well stocked, and big store. Located just off I-95 with excellent parking and good store layout make this location a goto for contractors as well as casual customers alike.

Worst customer service

Fantastic assistant in the lighting department makes this store useful and helpful.

Went in for simple rental of equipment. Person who checked me in made a mistake which is fine, but didn't know if he could fix mistake so we had to process again. Then when I brought back rental equipment, person wasn't able to help me because he closed the transaction. With technology, associates should be able to use different credit cards or even change the card used without any problems.

I love the Stamford store, it is very large, very bright and very customer friendly! All the sales associates are very helpful, very knowledgeable and courteous.

Most of the store associates are extremely rude (there are few helpful ones but based on my experience majority are awful especially those in the customer service area). I had 2 remodel projects so far this year and every time, I went there, I was treated poorly. Fast forward, I had to return some stuff and the lady that helped took forever and kept complaining that things are not coming up but then she tries, it magically shows up. She was so slow and refused to return one item in which homedepot delivered the wrong item. She kept insisting she could not do anything about it until i created a fuss and manager stepped in. I was so mad after my last experience that i am going to AVOID shopping from HD going forward. Quite frankly, paying customers should not be treated with disrespect and I saw other customers being treated poorly as I was waiting in-line. The store is notoriously known for their poor customer service. They make returning stuff a nightmare which is not what HD is know for. If you need to go to HD....go to another location or go somewhere else. Also think twice about shopping on homedepot.com since returning is a nightmare and their customer service folks leave little to be desired.

Outstanding Garden Center, great selection and easy parking.

Have more test marketing, raffles,give aways,tee shirts, hot dogs,drinks coffee,tea, water,and free tests of products. more discounts,and more surveys but have them in store with free stuff as an added incentive. If you want any more ideas them you'll have to pay me!!

Stamford's location is nicely fitted borderline New York, and parallel it's Norwalk, CT location. The opening of Stamford's location has shorted travel time greatly in between customers for gathering the correct material on the first and second pass. Even during this COVID-19 pandemic they have kept pace with the serviceman and home owner needs.

Pathetic customer service. Especially front end cashiers. They seem to hate their job and wish you had not come into the store interrupting their misery. Is it so hard to say thank you after a transaction? Is it too much trouble to show a paying customer where to find an item instead of pointing to the other end of the store? HOME DEPOT LACKS TRAINING FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES IN BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

With Covid -19 still an issue, the store strives to maintain a safe atmosphere and stock products related to the cleaning and maintaining sanitary surfaces.

I like the people in the store, however: This was my second trip to purchase the Ryobi 2 4.0 Ah battery, charger bag plus 1 tool (model #: PSK003) Sku 1005169736. The internet said you had "Limited Stock at Stamford" (and today, it still says that). When I asked the store employee, he laughed and said that product hasn't been in for a long time. The promotion is still being advertised on the shelf. I NEEDED the tool, so spend $79 to buy it, but am VERY frustrated b/c for $99, I could have the tool and 2 batteries. No option to buy on the internet.
