One of my return basket items did not come up on a receipt. When inquiring about store credit, the cashier claimed “store policy” had changed. When I pressed the issue stating I returned something in a similar way less than a week ago, and asked for an explanation, she claimed my account would be permanent blocked. This was clearly just an excuse to not run the extra 1 minute of data entry to process store credit. When asked for a more detailed explanation of the discrepancy from one week to the next, she realized she had been caught in her lie. She ran the return and it worked. Turns out, My account was not blocked, and HD had not changed their store policy.

I have made multiple purchases at the Stamford Home Depot this past year after buying a new house. Every individual I worked with from sales, customer service, special orders and management were outstanding in their efforts to help me. I got to work with some pretty special people! Thank You All!

They usually have a good amount of choices, and if I get it home I don’t like it there’s never a problem with returns. I have to say their garden department is absolutely phenomenal. I buy all my summer flowers there every year. Their plantings are amazing.

I had a few issues finding an item and employees went above and beyond to help me locate it. (I had the contractor at home waiting for me!) Also, at the last minute I decided to buy and oversized wreath that was outside and a young associate who was collecting carts ran inside the store and spoke with the head cashier to help me navigate the purchase. He also helped me load it into my car! Great service all around.

The place is always very clean and tidy. The people there help you like a lot of ease, one cashier in specific named Cassandra she is just great and super sweet.

I ordered a carpet via Home Depot to be installed in a townhouse rental apartment. When the secondary company the carpet would come from gave me an appointment for two months for the installation, I proceeded to cancelled the order. Although a representative of the secondary company confirmed with me that the carpet was not cut or sent to Home Depot, they proceeded to charge me 15% of my order, and rudely hung up on my when I tried to present evidence of my conversation with the secondary company. Totally unfair.

I just purchased the Kohler Toilet today. I know that my friend who will install it will have no problems. I love the slick look of this toilet and the great price. I will be purchasing many more items from Home Depot for my continued renovation!

The greeter was welcoming and asked if I needed assistance in finding any products. The employee Elisa who helped me with questions regarding window treatments was knowledgeable and professional. The check out cashier was pleasant and asked if there was anything else I needed and could not find. All in all, my experiences at Home Depot have been excellent including those in the customer service area in instances where I found it necessary to exchange products due to wrong size, etc. The store is always clean and neat and the location very convenient.
