store always has new products which gives a chance to do every project i had been planning and putting off . staff is very knowledgeable and friendly whenever i ask for help although my protects are always weird stuff but i explain what i am trying to end up making and they always make smarter suggestions that same me from going in circles . they never had lines at checkout cause its mostly self checkout . even when i go to checkout at the pro on the last lane or the 2 before it there is never more than one person ahead of me.

The employees at this store do not offer to help the customers. I stood in front of the paint counter for a good 5 minutes before speaking up to ask for help. One of the two men could have said "I will be right with you". To add insult to injury, the man sold me an interior stain instead of the exterior stain that I asked for, which I had to return. I will happily purchase my paints/stains at my neighborhood hardware store instead. Also, good luck finding anyone to help you with window blinds or shades at this HD. It's just terrible customer service in the aisles. The people at the customer service area and check out areas provide OK service.

This is a very clean and stocked store.

This store has great parking and is easy to navigate. Generally I can find what I need and get out pretty quickly. I also like the layout and find it a nice, clean store to move around in.

Great Super Store. They have pretty much whatever you need. The ONLY complaint I have is that they only have ONE or TWO cashiers working. So many self check out stations and then they STOP you at the door to CHECK MY WORK. Put more cashiers on the front to ring up customers. OR, Start offering a DISCOUNT for WORKING for them.

Shopping at the Stamford Home Depot was convenient and very pleasant! The signs showed me where everything is that I needed, which was extremely helpful, the store is well designed, clean and easy to maneuver. In addition, the checkout process was extremely efficient due to the help of Carla, the cashier. She could not have been more fabulous! She deserves to be recognized for her initiative, positive energy, professionalism and willingness to help. She nailed it!

Our first experience dealing with the door/window department. Fabiano and Susan are EXCEPTIONAL!! They were both a huge help and provided a wealth of knowledge.

Employees are arrogant and not accommodating at all. Care more about themselves than their customers. Niel and Jesus protect there poor performing employees rather than help customers that spend thousands of dollars and are brand loyal. Well this customer is heading elsewhere(cant say where because HomeDepot will not post verified reviews that are truthful and mention their competition even though it was and is their management that is driving me there. Another flawed and self centered business process that will be your downfall as a company). Keep it up and you'll start losing market share and that stock price will start dropping.

home depot, I love the vibe around this store, Nice parking area, easy to get in and out, no traffic around the store.

Disappointed all around in this store. The garden center employees sit on the check-out counter and/or lean on the register chomping away at gum. The company return policy is ridiculous. When I was loading my car, I noticed that I accidentally picked up an extra little item (under $2) that I didn't need and went to customer service to return it, with receipt. Because I used a gift card, the cashier wanted to see my ID. I've been told by friends in security to not let stores scan the back of my ID. So she wouldn't do the return and I'm stuck with this little item. Most stores wouldn't hassle customers over such a small amount and would have given cash back because of the item amount. Home Depot, why is your return process so stringent??? I will surely think twice before visiting any of your stores again or recommending your store to family or friends. I am fine driving a little further to other stores.

The store is new, clean and employees very helpful and knowlegable. employees willing to help wspecially aiding in taking heavy items to your car.

The store is clean and a comfortable temperature. It is a new layout from older store, Norwalk and Port Chester, but after a few trips it will seem like home. The associates are very helpful and know where different inventory items are shelved. Every one of them has a smile on the face and is welcoming.

I have been to the Stamford store three times in the last year and it’s the cleanest Home Depot I have ever seen. Last night the door fell off our refrigerator, and I found lots of good prices on the website. When my husband and I arrived to pick one out at the store today, the staff (especially Shay) seemed genuinely happy to see us and was super helpful. Everything about my experience was well done and she even found a discount I could use! Good work all around!!!
