I want to commend Chris from the cutting department - Chris was so incredibly helpful. This was our first large-ish scale DIY project and Chris was able to cut specifically to our specifications. He was very talented - and is the reason we would be coming back to this home depot in the future!

I go to this Home Depot a few times a week. The prices there are the lowest around & they have a large selection of power tools & accessories.

Cherelle took my call and found the products communicated the details managed the packing and logistics to have the product sent to my house. There are not many people with the skill set she exhibited. I can’t tell the story enough she took the call and kept pushing the task forward until it was complete. Took a call, found the item, secured the item, ran the invoice, found a delivery method she did it all. Management material. Thank you again Cherelle. Bobby

Associates are rude and not helpful

All my needs were meet! Great store..

Esperanza, a sales associate, was amazing. i was trying to refund a malfunctioning thermostat and she guided me through the process, even calling customer service on my behalf. Exceptional service.

needs more customer friendly attention and savy tecnical teaching types that can help all the diyers

Avoid this store on weekends. Most staff was not knowledgeable and under-trained (and we needed to wait to speak with them...we tried several people) and check-out lines were impossibly long.

Friendly and courteous staff

Yonkers store 1248 has what customers need but it could use improvement 1. the parking area is inside a structure with another parking lot above and therefore is always dry but filled with old trash and bird droppings. there is also much evidence of construction debris and drink bottles from contractors who are always in and out in a rush to get more supplies and some of them dump their debris in the busy crowded lot when they park. Cleaning is lacking 2. the inside of the store is also jammed with the same contractors pushing their flat beds carts in any direction to get into the limited check out lines. the inside of the store is also aisle crowded and needs cleaning. touching anything leads to getting dirty fingers dust everywhere since wood, sheetrock and other items are cut to size and the ventilation moves that dust in all directions.

Shopping at Home Depot is like shopping at your home - you feel welcomed and never rushed - the lighting in the store is perfect - it gives you that homey feeling and you can still see and read everything - their holiday items are beautiful and lots to chose from. I love going to Home Depot - it's like a home away from home experience.

That employee on the register with blonde hair, I think Jamilah, watched me struggle to find the line and stared at me waiting on the other side of her register and kept taking random customers and skipped me and didn’t even tell me I was on the wrong side, She stared at me and didn’t even tell me that I was on the opposite side. SHE NEEDS TO GET FIRED. She also left the register when I was paying for my items, I could’ve easily walked away and get all the items for free. The employees in every Don’t HELP AT ALL. They just watch you struggle and be on their phones.

The worst HD I have been to. A man(employee)was picking up carts in lot last week got into a car and went to sleep. 1.5 hrs later finally got thru cashier and he was just getting up. Manager needs to memorize these words: YOUR FIRERED! Keep records of all employees. This store needs a secret shopper as a tradesman

I needed precise lumber cuts done on their big saw, and I couldn't have been luckier than to have Chris from the Lumber Dept help me. I watched him make some cuts for a customer ahead of me and was super impressed with his careful approach (that guy was making a kitchen island and it was his first time; Chris was on it). When he helped me with my lumber needs, it was perfection. I told him what I needed, and he put himself into it 100%, a true craftsman. I got just what I needed. Chris is like the best of what you can find here and really all the Home Depot stores I ever go to: someone who listens to the customer, makes sure what the requirements are, then makes sure the customer leaves happy!

My cashier young lady Paula was very helpful & professional & she went above & beyond for me. She was the Best!!!

This store is very conveniently located near to my home and the COSTCO and other stores. Shopping experience very pleasant and when you ask for help, employees are very helpful.

I would not recommend many HD stores. The ignorant, rude, ill-mannered employees who lack knowledge make the shopping experience unpleasant. Aside from that, you can only go to HD if you know exactly what you want because 98% of employees do not have a clue.

People that work there hate their jobs, if you don’t like people then don’t work with people. Very unprofessional and so rude! Never shopping here again!

The store is clean and the associates are friendly but on occasion are not informed of their inventory,example today I was looking for 5 gallon paint pails was told to go to aisle 5 on my way there they were in all different places before I got to the aisle. I was also told they were out of a product and as I was leaving found a whole display of the item I was looking for.

Nice store but it took me over an hour to find the landscape lumber. Only 1 out of the 7 employees I asked was able to tell me where these were located. Just so you know, don't waste your time looking for them inside of the store. They are all stored out in the parking lot!

I LOVE HOME DEPOT BUT TODAY HAS CHANGE TO WAY I FEEL ABOUT THIS STORE FOREVER.. I went in today to exchange my water bottles for the water machine I purchase at home depot. I was addressed, accuse and embarrassed in front of all the customers of trying to return a water bottle that didn't belong to this [601 sprain Rd yonkers NY 10701 Home Depot store]. Employee Krina states "that bottle doesn't belong here, loud and obnoxious" I replied "I always buy my water here this bottle belongs to this store" Karina laughs and says no it doesn't, when I ask her to check the rack of bottles she refused stating "I know my Job I dont have too". Another employee whispered something to her and then karina says "I dont care people always trying to get over" [I have never been so embarrassed in my life everybody was starring at me] so I check the rack and beging pulling out water bottles of the same king telling Karina "you guys dont sell this water huh! I could see in her face she had messed up, instead of getting humble she turns and ignored me, when I ask for her name, she covers her name tag and turns from me. The head cashier comes up and tells me "her name is Karina" as I request to speak to a supervisor. The head cashier tells me it will be an hour and a half before you can do that, due to a big meeting being held. I said " I will wait this is unacceptable I am so mortified" fifteen minutes later she says "Oh there's the manager". [I think to myself really! did she just tell me an hour and a half to discourage me. I cant believe these people] So manager comes up to me and I try to explain as he states this bottle is not from here, when I show him he says " oh I didnt know so take your bottles and go" I tell him about Karina [hes looking at me like yeah, yeah, yeah] stating "I'll take care of it". I ask him how do I know she will be addressed he says "I SAID ILL TAKE CARE OF IT" [in a load voice]. So I ask him for her name he says "it's on her tag" I explain "she wouldn't let me see her tag" he goes to Karina exchange words and comes back an says didnt the head cashier tell you her name [ are you kidding me I think] I said "yes but at this point it seems like all you guys care about is covering each other more than helping the customer and the head cashier could of told me anything" I ask " what's your name he said "Evan's" I replied "Evan what" this manager steps close to me with all this Covid-19 pandemic going on sticks his chest out and tells me "My name is Evan's that all you get" [ I think to myself, I just got abused, compromised my health, and dismissed like a piece of crap with no appreciation of the 25 plus years I've been going to Home Depot. I'm CRUSHED I left with my water. Felt like if I didn't the manager would of hit me. In all reality Karina could of excused herself when she realize she was wrong. The head cashier could of been honest about the manager and the manager Evan's could of been professional instead of a tuff guy. This store needs to fire the manager Evan he is the worse role modle, probably explains Karina's attitude and actions, Because the employees are only going to do and follow their leaders. There is no way someone should be treated like this from all levels next I will contact the better business beaurue.

The best Home Depot location in Westchester, County-hands DOWN!

A lot of people in the store. It has just about everything you need. A woman named BiBi help me from customer service .If you need anything, find her, very impressive woman. She should be running the store. She went from CS in the front of the store to Windows and Doors at the back to take care of a purchasing issue I had. I'm sure there's a lot of good people there but she went above and beyond.

This store is pretty decent always has stock and most associates are knowledgeable of the products in stock. I have applied for work there an have never be asked to come in for interview that's my only complaint.

My Dad used love going to the Home Depot here in Yonkers NY & feel the same way. You can't beat the prices and selection of items here in Yonkers. Also the staff here is very helpful & friendly. I wouldn't go to any other home center & I go to the Home Depot 3-5 times a week. I also check the clearence area for any good deals!

The store needs to trim the bushes by the exit from the parking lot. It is very hard to see traffic coming fro the Thruway and I feel I am taking my life in my hands to exit. Many employees don't know where to find things. Look for Arthur. He is good.

It is not possible to tell you what I endured at the cash register when purchasing a GIFT CARD! Don't think about doing it. The squeaky tinny voiced woman was greatly enjoying torturing me for not having brought along a CITICARD. She wouldn't accept a Chase bank Visa card, or a TD bank Visa card or a Ridgewood Savings Bank Master Charge card! The invasion of privacy that I was forced to be subjected to was beyond the realm of any self respecting business. I wish the head of the company could have been there to have him/her subjected to such humiliation. They should all go jump in the ocean. I am 72 years old; have multiple medical issues and had to stand for about a half an hour while they tediously tortured me.
