I am using the plexi for winter window covers for my screened in deck.
The product is ideal for the job to be done. I am enclosing a screened in deck.

    Perfect for the job
I bought this to go under a set of three parrot cages to keep the floor clean. Because of the thickness it was able to support the weight of the cages and the parrots did not chew on it like on the linoleum I had under it before. It took a bit longer than I would have liked for it to get delivered but it was worth its weight in gold!

    good, heavy product
This product was used to replace a similar product to protect one side of our screened in porch. The previous plexiglass was thinner and had cracked. This new piece is heavier and much more durable. You must be careful if you need to drill holes for installation, as we needed to do. Make sure you drill with a high quality drill bit and drill slow and steady.

    Perfect for my space
I needed a floor mat to use under my computer chair. My space is small and this seemed like just the right size. I called the store and they were great in helping me decide that the size and thickness would work. It did! Delivery was quick, the quality very high and customer service was excellent.

Good product for what I needed it for.
Product has a nice finish. It appears to be durable. It is working well as a substitue for glass as small table top insert.

Great product! Just what I needed.
I was building shelves in my closet. I used the 20' x 12" Closet made wire shelves cut down to 38" shelves. I was going to be using them for shoes - I'm a woman, so think lots of heels. With wire shelves, my heels would fall through. I was looking for a clear plastic shelf liner that would not detract from the look of my shoe shelves, but would provide a good base. I cut these in half with a box cutter and viola! No heels falling through my shelves! Ordering online was quite simple; shipping was ... read more quick. Overall a great buying experience.

    Perfect
Was looking exactly for this product. I have 2 6' long shelves for clothes and 5 4' long shelves for shoes in my closet and It keeps my clothes from getting those annoying lines and now my heels don't fall through. Plus it allows the light to still go through.

Great for 12" wire shelving in pantry
I was looking for shelving to add to the 12" white wire shelving in our pantry because things tip over easily. I wanted something sturdy but crystal clear, but could only find the liner rolls which were neither. This shelving is both and the best price I could find. It fits perfectly on top of the shelving and is great because it lets light through so you can see everything on each shelf (the benefit of having wire shelving!) It was easy to measure and cut with a sturdy utility knife. I taped ... read more all the seams with clear packing tape and it looks great!

Acrylic Sheets - Easton Home Depot Manager Jess WAS AWESOME!
We really like the acrylic sheets for what we use them for; research posters presented by students and faculty in our hallways. However, it should be noted, that packaging needs to be improved by about 100%. Bubble wrap should be placed between each sheet that is packed in one box with the edges cushioned with bubble wrap. The hard cardboard that is currently used and doesn't fit the entire length of the boxes are a joke.

    Ease
I had to cut and drill this Acrylic Sheet and it was very easy. The first piece I cut I was a little nervous, but after that everything was smooth sailing. Plus the price on these sheets could not be passed up for the job. I have been recommending these sheets to anyone who starts to talk about their need for plexiglass.

    Very easy to work with
I'd rather cut this myself because then I can make sure the measurement is exact. The easiest way to cut this is on a table saw using a 120 tooth blade. Do not remove the backing film. Draw a line where the cut is to be. Cover it with masking tape. I use this acrylic product on home built picture frames and it works extremely well.

This plastic replaced the windows in my shop.
I expect these windows to last twenty years. !/8" sheets are light and easy to deal with. Two people are required. One person on each side of the sheet. The shop windows are a full 4'X8'. Lots of heat gain for the winter. Shade is required for the summer. Price at Home Depot was as good as I found. Delivery was free to the store.

    This product exceeded my expectations
This product is exactly as described and better! Durable, strong, clear as glass and will definitely stand up to the task in which it was ordered to do! I used it for a 6ft x 4ft door and it is perfect!

    Great!
Do not listen to most of the reviews on here. If you have any do-it-yourself type of ability or know-how, this is very easy to work with. I am fairly skilled in woodworking, etc. but have no experience in glass/ plexi-glass cutting. After reading these reviews and much consideration, I ended up going with the Acrylic over the Poly. The price difference was too great. It shipped to the store in a few days and I picked it up with no problems. It was not damaged at all. I was extremely careful with ... read more it cutting the first time because most of these reviews talk like it is so easy to break. I cut it with a cordless circular saw with a fine (108 tooth) blade. It cut so smoothly and easy- no chipping, cracking, or melting. After the first cut, I just ran my saw through the other cuts without any hesitation. They all cut with a clean edge and I had no problems, at all. I have come to realize that most people probably did not know what they were doing and did not use common sense when going to cut it. The only complaint, I guess, was that I was hoping the 1/8 thickness would be a little less flimsy, but it was perfectly fine for the windows I made with it. I would definitely buy this again and/or recommend it to anyone. Just use a good blade and some sense.

    Cutting tool works
I used this tool to score a 1/4 in. thick sheet of acrylic. The tool worked well for this job.

    Works Great
I needed to cut a piece of 0.09" acrylic into many different shapes and this worked perfectly. I didn't think it would work but it did the job good.

    Great Tool When Properly Used
I had to cut a piece of 1/4" acrylic. I researched the best way to cut and found one of these tools would do the job. The instructions on the package say it will cut up to 1/4" acrylic and that is what I wanted to cut. You need to clamp a straight edge on top of the acrylic down to a surface with a 90 degree straight edge. The straight edge and clamping surface edge needs to span all the way across the piece you are cutting. The straight edge on top lines up with your cut line and the edge of ... read more the clamping surface under the acrylic. Once you have this set up you can begin scoring. It may take more than a few passes to score it enough. The blade is V-shaped so it will slowly strip off the acrylic and make a small v-groove into it. You must get at least half way through the acrylic before trying to snap the rest off. If everything stays clamped in place and you strip the acrylic v-groove more than half the thickness the rest will snap right off. Then you can sand the edge a bit to clean it up if you want to. I did this with this tool and it worked perfect. Great Tool !

    6-pak Acrylic sheets
The delivery was fast, in good condition, and what I expected. Shopping online or in store is always pleasent, helpful, quick and easy. I would refer Home depot to my friends. Transaction went very smoothly. Hynsite1.

    Nice storm window material
I built my own storms with these using using some screen frames for support. They're working great so far, and the acrylic is easy to cut (I used a handheld circular saw with a fine-toothed plywood blade). It's extremely clear and bonds well to the frame. I docked a star for the packaging. This stuff ships direct from the manufacturer, and was insufficiently padded to avoid breakage -- in my pack, every sheet had one broken corner (ranging from 0.5 to 2" broken off). Luckily this wasn't an ... read more issue for me, as I had to cut them down to size and had scrap anyway. But, if you need the full sheet size as-is, you may want to call and plead for extra padding.

    Doesn't machine well
I attempted to fabricate a windscreen for an ultralight airplane out of this. The piece I needed was curved at the top and the bottom with straight sides getting narrower as it goes up. I cut the piece with a Dremel tool using a cutoff wheel, and then used a sanding block to clean and smooth the edges. It looked really nice at this point. Then I needed to drill 9 small holes at the bottom for bolts and seven small holes at the top for rivets. Using a 3/16" drill bit, I drilled the holes across ... read more the bottom with great success until I got to the 9th hole. When the bit went through, a 1"crack developed running from the hole to the edge of the sheet. The 7 holes across the top with a 1/8" drill bit went well with no problem. As I was riveting an aluminum mounting bracket to the top of the windscreen, the plastic split multiple times around the 4th hole. What I learned from this lesson is that this Optix product is not suitable for the purpose I intended. I don't fault Optix for this failure, after all they made no claims that it was suitable for this purpose. The purpose of this review is to let others who might have the same notion know that it will not work with this product. Save yourself a bunch of time and $35 dollars.

    Cutting plastic sheet
Cuts easily by using a circular saw with a veneer blade put on backward (the back of the teeth cut into the sheet) . Use masking tape to cover the cutting line and proceed slowly so as not to burn/melt the plastic.
