    Exactly what we needed.
Slate was delivered to the store early, packaged well and ready to be used.

    Beautiful tiles!
Tiles are beautiful and excellent value for price. The only drawback is they are fragile and some tiles may split or separate. That is expected with slate though and thickness varies but can be adjusted for during installation.

    Love the look
My Fiancé installed this in our kitchen on a wall. I think it's beautiful. Rustic sort of.

    Travertine Tiles 4"
These are Real Stone! If you want smooth with no holes, buy porcelain or ceramic replica tiles. Real Travertine is porous and never exactly the same. It must be treated to seal the stone. Do your research and you will not be disappointed in these!

    Looks great! Low cost!
Looks great! Low cost! Sealer isn't cheap, but that's the way it is. I used it to cover a built-in chest-of-drawers. I am very happy with the look. Borrowed a friends tile saw and did it myself.

    Travertine Tiles
The tiles were for a craft project. Of the four packs of 9 tiles I bought, all but about 4 were smooth enough for the project.

Tile guy said it was the best
I bought this slate before we even hired an installer because we knew it was perfect for our bathroom floor. We used it throughout the bathroom and continued it into the zero entry shower. Our installer said it was the best slate he had ever used. It did not flake or chip when he cut it, and he said the sharp edges and uniform thickness made the installation easy. He said the stone was more like travertine in the way it was cut, so all the tiles butted together perfectly, very little grout was ... read more needed. Also, he was able to bullnose pieces to make tile baseboards around the whole room. We get lots of compliments!

    This Floor Will Amaze You!
My wife and I just installed this floor in our 1920's kitchen and it definitely makes a statement. It gives the room a modern touch but looks timeless at the same time. The product is of beautiful quality and was so easy to cut and install. It is on the darker side, so beware if you want something that's a true gray. It was actually a little darker than we anticiapted, but we love it anyway! It's that awesome! Do not waste your time searching in stores looking for this product - we've looked ... read more extensively and this is, by far, the best we've seen. Enjoy!

    Great, consistent slate tile
I put about 250 square feet of this in a beach house that I'm renovating and really love how it turned out. Installation was easy (I used a Ditra uncoupling membrane between the tile and the slab) and the end result looks fabulous. I even did a bathroom over Ditra-heat and it provides amazing warmth. Out of the 15 or so cases of slate I installed there were probably 6-8 broken tiles. Most of those I was able to salvage at least some part for edge pieces. I cut the slate with a diamond ... read more blade on a wet saw and it worked really well.

Decent Travertine tiles but order extra
Overall these tiles are decent but in 180 tiles i had 17 bad/Unacceptable tiles. I made sure I ordered extra but almost 10% unacceptable rate is a bit high. Quite a few had holes all the way through or had weird veins of orange going through the tile that clearly didn't match the others. Overall I'm happy and i was able to easily return the defective tiles at my local store.

Love the raw texture of the stone tiles. Used them as tile coasters.
Used them primarily as tile coasters. After using the cheaper 16-cent ceramic tiles, I decided to try these. Love the raw texture and the natural variations of these tiles. Some do have holes and veins and others with chipped corners, which make them look really cool and rustic. Pretty sure they look great as wall tiles as well.

Great product for most home projects
The various colors and textures in these tiles are excellent. Once the tiles are grouted, your final project provides a high end look for a reasonable price.

    Nice trim accent
I used about 20 linear feet of this travertine trim around my bathroom wall tiles and shower. I has a nice simple look, grounted out smoothly and was easy to work with. One problem was some of the pieces were fragile and broke prior to use. But, once secured tot eh wall (with thinset or glue) they stayed in place nicely. In a ceiling application I had to use tape to hold iin place until the thinset set. I would recommend using these trim/accent pieces for a nice edge finish to any travertine ... read more or other type of tile installation.

    Wonderful product.
This product was extremely easy to work with. My husband was able to place on the cutter without any difficulty and setting onto the work space was a breeze. We love the finished look.

    Pencil molding accent
Installed this travertine pencil molding to accent a tile mosaic in my daughter's kitchen backsplash above her stove. It highlighted the mosaic perfectly. They love their new kitchen backsplash and mosaic accent. My only caution is that until the pencil molding is installed it is very fragile. I had to look through the complete stock to find enough unbroken pieces for my project.

This tile worked well for some added color to our project
We added this tile to our kitchen wall tile project. It really made it look more beautiful! It was easy to install and I love the way it all turned out!

Beautiful Stone, Can flake when cut
We used this tile for our accent strips in our master bedroom. We paired it with Bone color 4'' tiles, and the result was beautiful. To make grouting cleaner, definitely put two coats of sealer on these strips Before you grout. When cutting with a wet saw, the slate pieces can break, and come off in sheets. As long as you keep the broken pieces you can use the mortar to put them back on and you can never tell. When used with a light tile, these accent strips really stand out and the blue slate ... read more color is quite stunning,

    Great Bullnose Pencil Stone
Worked beautifully as an "edger" for my shower wall. Easy to install, and looks great! Beware: This stone is VERY porous, and will easily absorb water. MAKE SURE you seal this stone prior to use around a shower or kitchen!

    Great FINISHING Touch
REALLY finished off the project, handle with care, they can break easily. We shelf swept 3 stores to get enough for our project

    Nice trim piece!
Easy to install, this trim piece was a nice finishing touch to an existing 12 x 12 tile in a bathroom that simply ended at the wall. There are imperfections in the pieces, so inspect each one to make sure you get the ones you want.
