    Great for a small bathroom
The bathroom is a full bath with a washer and dryer behind folding doors. This exhaust fan is able to ventilate the area very well. The heater is good. The lights are useful. The unit would be fine for any bathroom, but really fits the needs of a relatively small area. This was a replacement for an older one that finally quit after about 16 years. I wish the sound level was quieter, but this is acceptable.

    A fine product
I have had one of these units in my home for 45 years. This is the third time I have replaced the unit. The original (from 1957) lasted 20 years. The replacements have lasted about 12 15 years each. Not bad at all in these times of throwaway appliances. Powerful, relatively quiet, multi-function. I find it a bargain even though the price has tripled since the first replacement.

Will retrofit into older units - an excellent 4-in-1 unit!
I used this to replace the same unit that has been in our house I believe since it was built in 1986. It was a perfect retrofit to take the "guts" of the unit and put it into the housing already there. The attachments and plug were all the same and it only took me about a half hour. (The motor had finally worn out on the old unit). All functions work very well and I recommend this unit.

    Excellent service and shipping
Too loud for small residential bathroom but I knew what it was when I bought it. Highly recommend home depot!

Great Product For A Great Price
Went to my local hardware store and found this unit. Unit was easy to wire and mount. Like the ease of not having to use any tools to take the motor out or put it in. This unit replaced an older unit that was on its last leg. Night and day difference and a lot quieter..

    Returned
The mounting bracket was on the wrong side of the unit for my purposes. I had to return the product. Home Depot accepted the return without objections for which I commend them.

    Is this fan on?
Installer was impressed with this fan. It is so quiet you are not sure it is on. Bathroom had no fan and this was easy to install. Works great and keeps the mirrors clear of steam.

    Good fan; misleading installation instructions
The installation instructions and included brackets are good only for an open ceiling, or where you plan to refinish the ceiling anyway. That bit of information is NOT in the instructions. If you are installing the fan in an existing or modified opening in the ceiling, the instructions are useless. In that case you have to fabricate your own mount for use in the space above the bathroom.

In my opinion this brand of exhaust fan is the best on the market.
In my opinion this brand of exhaust fan is the best on the market. Sound level is way less that 1 sone. The price is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for and this is not something you are likely to replace anytime soon again. It is rather large in all 3 dimensions so check your space before purchasing. Sound levels also depend on the diameter of pipe 4 inch or 6 inch are used, not 3 inch. also try to keep pipe output straight and smooth for the first couple of feet. Before I connected ... read more the exhaust vent pipe, it was so quiet, you couldn't really hear it at all. Afterwords I could hear it but still really quiet. I have actually purchased a larger version a year earlier for a different bath and obviously pleased enough to purchase another.

    Very good for the money
Overall a good product. If you have to replace an existing fan, and have the slack in the electrical wiring, and the exhaust hose, then you can put this fan in place without getting into the attic. It works well, a tad bit noisy, but again, you get what you pay for. Would give it 5 stars, but we unfortunately ordered a bit too small of a unit for our bathroom, and now have to go into the attic to remove.

    Ceiling vent fan
The unit is very quiet. Make sure that if installing through ceiling that install clip is on vent side. otherwise install clip CAN NOT be used and screws will be needed to install. It is a very good price.

My new Air KingHigh Performance Bath Fan is BETTER than i hoped!
I just self-installed my new Air KingHigh Performance 70 CFM Ceiling Exhaust Bath Fan and im so pleased with it. It's so much quieter than the fans I've had experience with in the past. Its also the fastest acting bath fan i've ever had the pleasure of owning. The specifications on the Home Depot web site made it easy to choose the right fan for my bathroom as well. The instructions were clear and the installation was a breeze. I could'nt be happier!

    Nice Looking
We got this fan because we wanted a quiet fan, full lighting feature (Night Light /Light), and something that looked nice. I guess 1 out of 3 isn't all bad. Installed sound is about 1.5-2. If you get a humidity sensor switch (which I need - Kids Bathroom) - forget about night light feature. If you get this fan everyone will tell you - you should have bought the Panasonic (any Panasonic). Pro - Nice looking Con - Should have better instructions and switch recommendations. Could have a quieter ... read more motor/fan. What good are features when they are difficult to get setup because of lack of application notes/help.

Works great...once you figure out the wiring.
Installation was fairly straightforward, but wiring was another story! The wiring diagrams leave a lot to be desired. The product description talks only about single switch operation, but the wiring diagrams in the manual are for a two switch application only. Pretty confusing, but three calls to tech support straightened it out...I think. It's working, but I'm still not sure it's correct.

Overall - This is a great upgrade fan.
Pros: Fan is super silent Much improved air flow Adjustable humidity sensor Installation was straight forward (other than the additional switch requirement) Cons: Knowledge that you need an additional switch for the humidity function would have been a benefit from the start if you are doing an upgrade from a non-sensor model. Recommend: Check out the air vent setup before purchase, as all new fans are slide venting, my old fan was top venting, so I also need to change out the air vent to ... read more accommidate the new position.

Excellent fan, very quiet, work as advertised!
The fan is very quiet as advertised, installation as directed however I had trouble with the CFM setting, I had wired the fan direct to power without being switched and it ran constantly rather than just when moisture was in the air. I called Delta and was helped immediately by a very professional individual and he told me to turn off the CFM setting. The fan works perfectly. Great product and GREAT support from Delta.

    As advertised
This product was everything that it said it would be. The fan is quiet and has been dependable through the first 30 days. I installed it in a bathroom that is used by my two daughters. They like their warm showers and the fan ventilates the room nicely. The install went really well with help from someone who is more handy than me (especially when it came to cutting a hole in the side of the house). The wiring was easy to figure out and do.

    Worth it
I never write reviews but this fan deserves recognition for being exactly as advertised - quiet. We had an opening in our outside wall from a previous fan so looked high and low for something to fit the hole in our bathroom. We were elated to find this fan and it was pretty easy to install. But the biggest pro is that is it indeed very quiet, we almost forget it's on it's that quiet. It seems to have the air movement quality we wanted as well. The only con is the grill but this is just a taste ... read more issue since I would have liked a chrome grill and one that was a little more flush with the wall. It was more than we wanted to pay for a bath ventilation fan but we're very happy with our purchase.

    Nice quiet fan
I had an electrician install it so I am not sure about ease of installation. My wife asked is it even on?, because she could barely hear it. It is quiet with no moisture buildup during showering. No moisture on the mirrors anymore. I will be purchasing 2 more for my daughter's home. It was installed in the wall to eliminate a roof penetration.

    What an improvement!
Got this to replace a 70cfm fan that was overmatched by a bathroom prone to hold moisture. This more than does the job, clearing the moisture in minutes. It is sold for wall and ceiling installation but has hardly any wall installation instructions. I had to work the wall installation out for myself.

Does everything a fan should do.
We moved into a house that had no fan in the restroom. The steam on the mirrors was irritating. After the fan was installed I told my friend "the good news is there is no fog on the mirror when I get out of the shower, and the bad news is since there is no fog on the mirror I can see how fat I am-haha.

Good Construction ; A little louder than expected
I installed this fan in a small condo bathroom that tends to trap a lot of moisture during a shower. The 110 CFM moves a lot of air and makes a big difference in the moisture build-up.
