Quiet bath fan
This bath fan is extremely quiet at 0.3sones. I took a chance at this low price and am very pleased. The fan housing has wide enough dimensions to fit in the ceiling cutout of my old 1970s bath fan. to stabilize any movement. The fan wiring was very simple-- black to black, white to white, and ground, which eliminated any guesswork with the more complicated heater/light/fan combos. There is a 6in duct plastic damper that sits high in the housing, nicely avoiding the free blown insulation in my attic, so I didn't have to move much else up there. I would suggest buying a different fan grille that is more aesthetically pleasing and pure white in color if your bathroom is bright white like mine. Overall good motor after one week of use, clears out steamy bathrooms quickly, and easy installation if you have good attic access.
