Fence Kept Dog from Escaping (previously Chain-Link Type Gate)
After seven years of of trouble, our medium size dog began moving the chain-link wire on our two gates to squeeze through and escape into the front yard. Even after wire reinforcement, she was still able to break out. We found these black iron tubular steel gates. They work well to keep the dog in.
I reused the old chain-link gate hinges on this fence with no problems. Did not have to buy hardware for the gate.
Not too Fancy
Just needed a plain gate for our Craftsman fenced yard. You will need to purchase a hanging and latch kit separately.
Using this as trellis - not as a gate.
Not sure that this is a good review because we are not using this product as a gate. We attached it to the side of our raised garden to use as a trellis for our vegetables (melon, cucumber, peas, etc) We drilled holes in the slats and ran wire horizontally from one end to the another. We created 3 horizontal rolls for the plants to grab. Gate itself is well built and looks like it can withstand the weather as well as the weight of several melons, etc. We purchased 2 for our 2 raised garden.
