    NICE GRILL
My 3rd grill I have bought. With no kids around any longer wanted small but good grill for my wife and I. The Steaks and chicken came out great.

    Good grill for it's class
I picked up this grill and had assembled it myself. I took a few hours as the directions are "pictorial" and not explanatory. As a tip, any self tapping screws, screw it in first before you attach the part. There's not a lot of hand room. The grilling area is roomy and I like the cast iron as opposed to the ceramic but that's personal preference. The metal is a little flimsy but but sturdy. Over all the assembly was fine. I did find that the hose from the propane tank to the burner is to short ... read more but works fine. I used it for the first time today and the temperature was around 70-75 degrees. The grill pre-heated easily, I cooked 5 sausage links in twenty minutes as the recipe stated and 4 1/4 pound burgers in ten minutes, all with the lid open. The side burner cooked up some baked beans in no time at all! I believe it should grill fine from early spring to late fall with no issues with heat. I do like the grill, nice size, great cooking, the hybrid concept is pretty cool but it needs hooks for utensils. Over all if your expecting a Weber, buy a Weber. But the Char-Broil is a solid name with a solid product and for $150, you can't go wrong.

    great grill for the money
Great grill for the money, picked it up already assembled. Got it home was cooking in less than 10 minutes. Looks and feels really well built, gets hot fast.Like the fact you can cook with gas or charcoal.Bought the 2 year repair or replace it plan for an extra 18.00 dollars seems worth it for the price. Can't wait to try it with charcoal.Would recommend if looking for a grill on the cheap end. Home Depot was great as for as service.

    Wonderful Weber "Wham" grilling sensation!
I ordered online to have this 130# box DELIVERED free to my front door. It took less than 45 min to assemble and cook my first meal on it. I really am impressed with the grilling surface, and how easy it is to clean. I am glad I spent a few $$$ more for a grill that is obviously going to last 10-15 years. The last grill I bought was a $150 cheepie, which I rebuilt 3 times in 8 years. I know this Weber will be maintenance free for at least 15 years. Well built, well designed, well... it's a Weber!!!!

    In LOVE
I absolutely LOVE this grill more than anything I could ever love. I grill 4-5 times a week even during the winter and I know my grills this one is hands down worth every cent. I put it together myself very simple and the parts were very good quality everything fit properly and nicely. This grill cooks so evenly you don't need do constantly move your food around to make sure either. I grill one side then flip and grill the other. The gourmet bbq system is awesome and really easy to insert and ... read more remove for cleaning. Stop looking here and by this grill!

    Great BBQ
This is a great little BBQ. I love the Gourmet BBQ System, it makes grilling veggies or frying bacon super simple. Like all Weber BBQs you can see and feel the quality difference when compared to a cheaper brand. This BBQ will last more than a couple of years (I had my last Weber over 10 years). I purchased it at the store and it was already completely assembled. :) The only thing I'm not crazy about is the front cover. It should be a door, as is, it is not useful for anything and kinda annoying ... read more to take off and put on.

    Best for the money
Easy to assembly. Made in Canada! All burning elements are stainless steel. Cast iron grill. Even heat distribution. Wind proof. Highly recommended!

    Solid midpoint grill
Ample cooking space and seemingly decent quality. To early to comment on durability. Would be a better design with a door on the front of the unit to access the propane tank.

    Excellent High Quality
Thick stainless steel flame plates, heavy cast iron grill surface, cast housing, designed for many years of use, even heat throughout

    LOVE IT!!
I purchased the Gridiron because I needed something portable (have the Quattro as well). It's perfect for taking to tailgating now that football season is in full swing. My wife wheeled it in and out of our SUV last weekend haha, so easy to collapse and go! HIGHLY recommend!!

    Outstanding Design
I was looking for a portable grill but could not find one that was both portable and provided enough cooking surface for my needs and then I found this grill and I absolutely love it. It is perfectly designed for the role it is intended for. I design industrial equipment for a living so I can be very critical of all things mechanical but I have been extremely impressed with this system - especially how it so effortlessly folds and unfolds. The insert system is a very neat idea which opens up ... read more possibilities for use that you would normally only associate with large semi-permanent grills. This grill perfectly fills the void between large multi-burner grills and very small (1~2 person) portable grills. Are there things that could be improved? Yes, like the gauge of metal used for the side deck could be a bit thicker, but again when you consider its intended use, a highly functional medium capacity grill that is highly portable and easy to store, it is one of the best values for the money I have every come across and I highly recommend it.

    STURDY AND CONVENIENT
Love this grill! It was really easy to assemble. Only had to put on wheels and handles. All I needed was a screwdriver to do the job. It was nicer than I imagined. I had previously owned another portable grill and it was not very sturdy or durable. The Gridiron is awesome. There is plenty of room on the grill grates for all of the food we had. It collapses really easily and opens back up just as nicely. There is a latch on the lid to keep it closed when you are transporting it as well. Overall , ... read more very nice quality.

    A solid grill
Have to agree with the other reviewer. The grill is solid once you get it together. It puts out plenty of heat and it seems less flimsy than many more expensive grills. Just a good, no fuss grill that doesn't cost a ton. The assembly instructions could have been a bit clearer in a few places but with a bit of pondering and persistence it goes together without too much trouble. Just ignore anything having to do with a side burner, which is for another model. The hardware in some spots could ... read more also be a bit easier to work with. The screws seem to be Quadrex screws which are supposed to accept both Phillips and Robertson square-drive screw drivers. Not every one of my Phillips screw drivers fit well. The ones that are flattest worked the best. Given the position of some of the nuts, a simple wrench was easier to work with than a socket wrench. Also, when attaching the base, you'll need a socket on a screw driver attachment or a deep socket to reach the nuts since they are recessed in the plastic base a bit. Once assembly is over, though, the only complaint I have so far is that the doors are a bit fiddly and aren't easy to keep closed. It seems that you have to lift them slightly and seat them just right otherwise they have a tendency to swing open a bit. One interesting feature that I'm not sure is mentioned is that you can fold down the shelves. That should come in handy when storing it for the winter. Lastly, this comes with cast-iron grates which are better than many of the flimsier steel grates that I've seen on other less expensive grills. I think I'll really enjoy this grill!

    Broil Mate 4 burner
I bought it from home depot, it was from a past offer. I had before a Brinkmann, The brinkmann had several short comings, lots of heat loss through the cover, burners screwed to the BBQ and difficult to change as the rust and heat welded everything, inside steel weak, rusts and brakes. The Broil mate is a good product which is, in term of quality and price, between a cheap imported grill and the Rolls Royce or, the american Weber. Broil mate is by the way made in Canada. The grill is very ... read more powerful, (not to use full speed) and gives a good flavor to the meat. Sad that home depot is not following this product on a regular basis, would be an advantage as customers tend to confirm!

The grill gives you alot at a good price.
I am very pleased with the grill. Have been using it for about three weeks now. First use on Mother's Day. I was skeptical about trying it out as we had company. Used it and had the best bbq ever! It cooked evenly and quickly. The food tasted great! And it doesn't dry the meat out. I recommend this grill. I also like the side burner. Seems to work well. No problems with anything. My husband put it together in about 3 hours. Said the directions were very helpful and he was impressed at how ... read more everything went together so easily.

    total package for the money
For the price range this has all the feature you would use for less than the Genesis. It was important to have a side burner on the grill for me, HD did online only, but through customer service attached it to an in store purchase for special financing. Cover and clean your grill people. The last gas Weber we had lasted forever. Setup was easy too, one hour tops.

    Highly recommended!
This grill transforms salmon and steaks into succulent delights. I've "grilled" with my oven broiler and on the stove-top for years but there is no substitute for the high-heat and temp control of a proper grill. The Spirit E-320 gets up to 500+ degrees in under 10 minutes. Solidly built and super easy to use, you just can't go wrong with Weber. Sure, the Genesis is prettier, but the Spirit 300 series is $200 cheaper and shares the same internals - a great value. NOTE - if you buy the Spirit ... read more 300 series from Home Depot, they throw in cast iron grates gratis ($70 value). Other stores sell this grill with the ugly, less effective ceramic grates. But watch-out, Home Depot only offers this in-store. If you buy on-line you will get the ceramic grates. I bought on-line but was able to work out a free "upgrade" to the cast iron grates with my local store before I purchased it.

    Three years of dependable performance.
I have had this BBQ for 3 years and it is hands-down the most dependable and reliable BBQ I've ever had. I've used this BBQ on average 2-3 times a week since I retired. Although I try to keep it clean, it has been outside, exposed to the elements the whole time. Yet in that time I've never had to replace any parts or make any repairs! My last BBQ purchased from a member warehouse store was twice as expensive and parts began to deteriorate during the first year of use. My only complaint is that ... read more the heat is not always even over the complete cooking surface, but that minor flaw in no way reduces my enthusiasm for this BBQ. For the price this is a great BBQ and a great deal.

Great grill for the sale price
A great grill for the sale price I purchased it for with free shipping. A bit tedious to put together but once it was up it is large and spacious. Lots of grill space and storage underneath. Over $360 seems a bit steep but under $270 and dropped off at the front door was very reasonable.

    Great Grill for the Money
I am very happy so far with this grill. I had them assemble it for me there and I picked it up. There's so much room and it lights very easily. Also, the grills and plate protectors come off easily for easy cleaning.

I just got it and cooked on it
This grill is awesome! It does anything and everything you ever wanted to do. Just cooked veggies in the veggie tray with bratwurst and salmon around on the grate. I'm very impressed and would completely recommend. The best part was it is listed for $249 here and my husband got it for $169 in our local store.

Is it possible to marry a grill?
I fell in love with the STOK system when it first hit stores. The idea that I could cook eggs and pancakes on my grill was just amazing. In a small apartment, it adds basically another stove top to our kitchen. I held off on buying a STOK originally. When they first came out there was only the large version or the charcoal Tower avail. and I didn't really want to spend the money on the large one and I prefer the ease of propane. However, when I saw the "Coming Soon" information on the Island I ... read more was smitten. For those reviewers that mention needing a place for the lid, look to the left side of the grill. There's a rack on the lower left side that the lid handle fits onto nicely. There are also small metal pieces on the inside of the lid that stick out about two inches. These can be used to hook the lid onto the edge of the cooking surface as shown on the STOK website: http://www.stokgrills.com/grills/island.php This grill is extremely light-weight (before the propane tank) and rolls very easily. I can't wait to get home and cook on it for the first time!

    Simple Design
Great grill, one hour overall assembly time. Cast Iron grates hold in the heat real well. Grill preheats to 400 degrees with in two minutes. Great concept and idea. Grates are 22.5 inches so may be interchanged with Weber. Looked for about 4 months for a grill. Leary at first, but after using it I was impressed. Way to go Stok. And Home Depot. Great job on a grill exclusive to THD. Good addition to my Weber charocaol 22.5.
