Service area seemed lacking…didn’t know products

We just bought window treatments for our large windows. The employee who helped us couldn’t have been anymore helpful or thorough. We had tons of questions, and she patiently answered each and every one. We never felt rushed.

We got excellent service for what was needed quickly.

Melissa was awesome and I highly recommend seeing her for your window treatments!

One of the Main reasons I go to the store is because everyone there is very friendly.

I love Home Depot and the Countryside store is my all time favorite mainly because of the outgoing and friendly staff! Always willing to please. Keep up the great work!

Took 25 minutes to find someone that could help find a product that was in stock, but on an upper shelf. Many employees on cell phones or talking to other employees. Once product was purchased, waited 30 minutes at customer pickup area without being greeted. Once acknowledged, they informed me that they were just now going to pull the item down. Ended up going to customer service and canceled my order. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hardware store.

This location continues to just stumble along with no end in sight. If you are looking for help, take your business elsewhere because these clowns could care less.

Nick, Jesus, and Saul are three kind and helpful young men who made my shopping experience way better than expected (even though I spent more money than expected, but that wasn't their fault)! Seriously, these guys helped me in different areas of the store and in different ways, but they each did their part to make my visit, and Home Depot's reputation, really good!

Everyone was unhelpful & not courteous. Except for the first 2 men in the lumber area. Checkout older blonde lady was especially surly. I'm not sure what was going on there. Very unfriendly people at this store. There was a short darkly ranned man that looked like he was causing some sirt if trouble. Maybe he was the reason, seemed full of himself. Darkly tanned. The checkout lady informed me no one was going to help me put the lattice on my car, no explanation. Then a man showed up & handed me a bunch of twine but wouldn't help me. Very rude bunch of people.

Always shop the Countryside location. You can't beat their paint department. They are spot on with matching colors and they always use the proper base!

I have purchased plenty of plumbing products from pipe fittings , hot water heaters , toilets , sinks , faucets . I have purchased all of my power tools there , paints & rollers . If I needed something the store always had it . I've made plumbing repairs , sump pump replacements , GFCI's replacement, storage shelves, hot water heaters, garbage disposals, plumbing fittings , table saws , drills , drill bits, electrical meters , snow blower, chainsaw, edging / trimmer, lawnmowers, backpack leaf blower , flowers , potting soils , hose fittings . I've ordered plenty of items online & will pick them up at the store , never had any delayed deliveries , e-mail always sent when item was scheduled to arrive . Plus I enjoy the 10% military discount , great idea H.D. it means a lot to us Vets. Thanks a lot . I've shopped at this close to home store ( 1.75 mi.) since its opening over 20 years ago & will continue to go there . It has not let me down on any products.

RUDE FROM MINUTE I WALKED IN TILL I LEFT- WHATS THE STORY W/ THE EMPLOYEES-

I bought a Snow Joe snow blower. I have not used it yet, I received wonderful customer support in purchasing this item. This store has product available, there are no empty shelves here. The customer service here is the best I have ever encountered at any HD store.

With all the shortages going on these days I was impressed with the availability of merchandise in this store. The staff unlike many big box center's ....we're very positive and impressively knowledgeable. Checkout lines short almost -0- waiting every cashier open. Imagine that a full staff of employees "working" !

Was getting my car serviced across the street and walked in to Home Depot. I had a very pleasant experience and conversation with Sarah. Thank you Sarah for taking the time to answer my questions and helping me out. I enjoyed my time here and I’m definitely coming back.

This location has very nice and helpful employees. There is always someone available if you need help or have a question.

Try to get some help at the pro desk. Wanted to get checked out And there was 2 ladies in the corner talking and laughing. A woman named dream came up to me wasn't very friendly didn't even say hello. Said if I need to be rang up had to go near the cashiers. She refused to help me and was very rude. Is that how the Pro desk runs. Management needs Hire new people that can help customers and contractor's. I asked another associate who was that woman they said she was the supervisor for the pro desk Very disappointing especially dealing with her.

Lynn was super sweet at check out. Made sure I had everything I needed.

You can't beat the Countryside, IL store for outstanding customer service in all departments.

This store has a good mix of younger and older employees. The younger employees are especially helpful, professional, and friendly. I did not notice any of the texting and ignoring the patrons. In fact, one employee, KYLA, went above and beyond to assist me a few time even though it was not her area/ department. Very thankful. Shopping here often for home repairs. Best store around.

The lady working by the hvac kiosk in countryside on 10/9 was a complete B. I asked if she could call someone to help in flirting bring a pallet down and she told me no, she could not help. I walked away and asked a guy Tim, who by the way was amazing to work with! The worst part about this was the lady kept talking about me to other customers abs employees. At one point she started talking in Spanish to a guy about me and didn’t realize I am fluent in Spanish. If it wasn’t for Tim and being beyond courteous, we would have left. Definitely will not be going back to this store.

Staff not quite as friendly could be more friendlier to ask me if they could help me. No one did and they saw me and walked past me, I needed assistance. When I approached the young man on flooring department he was sitting down and was Not friendly at all….I felt asking him.

We like this Home Depot because everyone is friendly, always has time to help you, and they are knowledgable about their department. And there also somebody in every department.Bors

Employees too busy having a conversation at the register to check out my purchase, told me to go to self check and did not even say Thank you. Customer service nonexistent.

Friendly associates and very helpful

Wide open flora section had alot of succulents, cactus & plants. Friendly shopping experience. First projection Kohler Sink was done by my husband, all that needed to be done was update a few items which we did. Good to go & try to complete the kitchen project. Cabinets & flooring may need to be tweaked & can complete and go on to 3 more projects which maybe taken care of this year.

This Home Depot lacks room, it is very hard to find some things in this store. I have shopped store all over the US and this one is not up to the standards of most of the others. The employees however are friendly and helpful.
