Military Discount
Stopped in to purchase materials for repair for kitchen. Super helpful Associates in Plumbing (Faucets) and Garbage Disposal. Problem when I went to Self Check out - you need a Mobile App code to receive Military Discount. Phone went dead when I tried to pull up website; Associate at check out was of no use. No App; no Discount. Asked to speak to Manager. Not sure this is applicable for those who do not know of this new requirement and I had previously been to a store in another State and had no issues. If a Veteran does not have a cell phone, but has their ID; I think there should be instances where it can be waived in my humble opinion.

    The store nearest to me will only accept cell phone APPs to obtain a military discount. I am old and so is my cell phone and I do not do APPs.

        GREAT SERVICE!!!
        I had an issue with the quantity received with an online special order. I called the store and got PRISCILLA She verified, prior to my arrival, that there was an issue with the shipment and that the missing items weren't in her receiving department. She issued me a refund and then SHAYLA assisted me with reordering the items online. GREAT TEAMWORK!!!

          POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT
          I have been a Home Depot shopper for decades and tonight was the first bad customer service I ever encountered. I did not have my cellphone, so I could not apply the military discount. I asked the young man at the self-check if he could enter it for me. He started to tell me that it wasn't his job, it took too much of his time, it would be the last time he did it and grumbled some other things beneath his mask. Then he gave me a crumbled up set of instructions for setting up the military discount application, which I had already done.

            Very dirty store
            Restroom was horrible. No paper towers, exhaust fans no working and really, really dirty with trash and water on the floor.

                  Safa the return cashier was extremely rude and screamed at me in store. She had finished with the customer in front of me who was an older lady and she said, “next” when looking at me. I gestured that the older lady was still getting her things together and was impeding my movement. Safa then screamed “NEXT” at me and o verbally told her the older lady hadn’t finished yet. I then asked Safa if she was ok and she ignored me. She did my return and was rude the entire time. I do not appreciate this type of customer service

                      Military discount no longer easily available!
                      Apparently in last December Home Depot changed the way in which eligible customers can be afforded a military discount, without forewarning such customers of the change. The new method requires that a customer have a cell phone and be registered into a Home Depot's account, rather than simply showing a military ID to be afforded the military discount.

                            Needs Some Thought
                            Managers need to rethink placement of carts. Should be some where needed, such as outdoor garden area. Customers get in there and see an item they decide to buy and then have to chase down a flat cart. Plus store doesn't seem to have enough available.

                                    Ordered carpet twice in the last month and had to wait for Francis to come into the store or give me a call to place my order. The manager over flooring could not place my order. Francis was helpful both times and great customer service.

                                            No Plastic Bags in Hardware !!!! Really ???? Yes, Really .
                                            Imagine buying small nuts, washers, lock washers and screws. Now imagine 10 to 35 of several of these ... and No Plastic Bags to put the items in. Put it in the cart... and they all fall to the floor in seconds. The associate said, "this has been that way for quite some time.". Why can't the manager take charge of this and buy sandwich bags for customers to store items they want to purchase?
