the Home Depot in Woodbridge is the best location to rent tools for use at home. I have patronized Home Depot for many years and have nothing but good success with their tools such as Wood splitters, Bob Cats, post hole diggers, and Floor sanders. My most recent experience has motivated me to provide this review. Tim at the tools rental bench was most helpful in resolving a problem that I had with a Floor sander that kept popping our circuit breaker and quit on me during the early part of the job. When I disappointedly returned the sander to Home Depot, Tim extended 2 hours on my contract and advised me to use a different outlet and provided an extra heavy duty extension cable to use with the sander. After reset on the machine, it worked and I was able to complete my job with satisfaction. The exceptional work and service performed by Tim provided me with great satisfaction. I will always return to Home Depot for our needs.

This has been the go-to store for my family for many years. The personnel are helpful and will sit down and explain things in detail to you. It gets busy so patience really goes a long way to your overall impression as a customer. If you go on a weekend, expect to wait a little for significant help because they are extremely busy. Wife and I have made most of our major home-improvement purchases at this Home Depot over twenty years and have been very happy with service and products. Even the subcontractor installers they use have worked out well for us. Salespeople and customer service/cashiers etc. are all helpful and friendly.

PERSONNEL ALWAYS GREET ME WHEN I ENTER THE STORE. I WAS IN THE PLUMBING SECTION LOOKING FOR SOMETHING BUT WHEN I LOOKED UP AN ASSOCIATE FOR THEIR TO HELP. I AM GLAD HE WAS PATIENT WITH ME AND DID NOT BLOW ME OFF BECAUSE I DID NOT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. SO I SHOWED HIM A COUPLE OF PICTURES ON THE PHONE AND HE WAS ABLE TO TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED.

John B was extremely helpful even though they were extremely busy. Very good experience.

Found a very knowledgeable and friendly assistant in the tiles department, he helped me with a mile long list from my contractor. Explained everything and took his time to help me. This person changed my mind about Home Depot! People like this keep customers coming back.

Unfortunately, some of the customer service reps are rude and do not really want to help. There are a few that are really good however and make you feel valued. I would like to mention Brenda and Elton as being great at helping out customers and making a person feel valued. Some of the others either need training or a position better suited for them.

I have been going to this Home Depot since it opened. I've purchased items in the store and online, excellent experience every time. I've also had there in home flooring service do carpeting in my home, Wow, absolute amazing job. Great store...D Davis

Customer Service and sales associates are very friendly and helpful in assisting you with your orders and home project needs. And, for the most part we can find whatever we need on the shelves. That is why we are repeat customers!

I have shopped here for several years after buying a new home in the area. I've made many visits for paint, landscaping, flooring, electrical, etc. On two occasions I received really great customer service where the employees went above and beyond. Once to correct a mistake they made and once to correct a mistake I made. Rarely find this kind of service today.

the store was clean and items were super easy to find. the staff was friendly upon entering and exiting the store. no complaints!

The staff in the Garden Center at this location are excellent. When I entered the garden center, I made a beeline for the mulch with a flat bed cart. Eric saw me heading that way, met me there and offered to assist. Forty-five minutes later when I was headed to my car, he was in the parking lot and offered again to help me in loading my car. Other staff in the garden center were quick to respond to my questions about where to find items I needed.

Great Woodbridge Store!

Tyree, Garnett and Maurice are very enjoyable, courteous, and professional.They ensured that we had all of the correct items to do our do it yourself project. I would definitely recommend using this home depot.

The handling of my floor installation was extremely poor and frustrating. This Home Depot is not reliable and when the employees state they will call you back, they don’t. I’ve been trying to get my vinyl installation done for over a month now and due to one of the Home Depot techs who came out and did the quote, he did NOT do the espestas test like he was suppose to. So, when the installers came to do the flooring.. AFTER I paid someone to come out and remove my toilet since that’s something they won’t remove, cleared out all my items from the bathroom, kitchen and hallway just to tell me they can’t do it and need to wait for the test to come back. It’s been 12 days and still no call back on the test results and after calling Home Depot twice and being told from a guy named Nick he would call me back and he NEVER did, I had to drive up there, I’m now still waiting for someone to call me back to get my dang on flooring done! The assistant manager who I spoke to was nice but as of this Friday if my appointment isn’t scheduled, I’m canceling. The contracting place they use ACS are rude and don’t return phone calls. The tech from Home Depot should have done his job correctly and someone should have been out there already to do my aspestos test !!!! I’ve never, ever experienced such horrible service at a hardware store in my life.

Very clean, organized, and well stocked.

Deceptive practices, there are alot of items they do not give military discount on, whereas others give it on anything and everything you buy there. They gave out bad info on the phone, forced to me buy inferior products for their install. Didnt tell me that they would REQUIRE a different electrical outlet. Pretty much any way they could annoy, they did. I called the manager and he said he would call LG, called back and basically said... too bad. Did not apologize for my inconvenience. He kinda hinted our wiring as old... not good... and the hoses were too short to accomodate our counter top.

Travis P at The Home Depot located at 14025 Foulger Square, Woodbridge, VA 22192 was completely awesome! Nice, courteous, and very responsive to our customer concerns and questions. We had decided to buy a new washer and dryer and Travis P was the sales associate that helped us throughout or purchase. The Home Depot will continue to excel having employees like Travis which truly care about customer. Thank you very much, The Home Depot is GREAT!8!

Eric in plumbing found what I needed in those hundreds of plumbing fittings. Lots of self -checkout lanes open. I was in and out in 10 mins.
