Price checking for an air compressor bundle package online and this store had the best price at 199.00. Heard great things about Home Depot and decided to give it a try versus Lowe's. Went in and the price in the store was 269.00. Proceeded to ask for management and was informed by management that Home Depot has a policy that they do not price match their OWN prices from online. That there is nothing they can do to help us and if we try to buy the cheaper priced version online it will end up costing the same with delivery fees. The assistant manager was condescending as he spoke to us even insinuating we were looking at the wrong item online as we proceeded to show him they had the exact same SKU numbers. He then stated that there was nothing he could do to help us. Meanwhile every employee standing in the front as this was happening had previously stated it was a ridiculous policy and they didn't even understand why they couldn't price match. After this experience we will keep our business somewhere where the management is friendlier and actually attempts to find a solution. We did purchase the equipment before we left as the price was not the real issue here. We felt we were baited to this store with a false price and then treated extremely poorly when pointing this out to the management. And to be honest this is the first store I have been to in an extremely long time that could offer no alternative solution when their own website showed a different price than the store. And the Assistant Manager at this store needs more management training when dealing with customers.

I needed some products from Home Depot that were not available at my local HD stores so I ordered the products online for pickup at the Dalton store. The order was filled timely and correctly and was ready when I arrived. I also purchased additional items while there. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and courteous.

This Home Depot is a great place to anything you might need the only bad thing is if u need to return something the older lady's get really unfriendly don't know why

The store is clean and well organized. I always get good service, especially in the garden dept. The employees treat me with respect and are helpful no matter what knowledge level I am at on the task at hand. The cashiers often suggest ways that I can save money by getting multi-discounts or coupons/rebates.

I gave this store 3 stars. It has gone down in the last year or so. It used to be super friendly and I used to be asked many times in my visit if I need help. It seems to be a ghost town now. Few people seem to want to help in the shopping experience. The cashier was rude in the self check out. Not all of them were rude several of them are very nice although far apart. The store has everything a home depot should have. In all honesty it is here because it is easy to get to if you live in Dalton. It is a store that has home depot stuff and it is by walmart.

I've been meaning to write this review for over a year. I want to take the time to tell you all how much I appreciate the Home Depot store #137 pro desk associates. I have been shopping at this location for over 4 years and it seems like every trip gets better with the service I recieve from not only the pro desk but also the cashiers and store greeters. I want to personally thank Bucky, Susan, Donnie, Curt and Kenny. Keep up the great work.

The store associate Daniel made my trip to this store well worth it. I would drive 25 miles to shop at this store because of how polite and thorough Daniel was.

I have been shopping at this Home Depot store for the fifteen years I have lived in Dalton, GA and I have never experienced such great customer service. I remember one time after having a problem with a shower head I purchased from this store 2 or 3 years in advanced and the management replaced it without any charge and no hassles and I am still using the new one today. I was a very satisfied customer. I could tell you about other ways this store has blessed me but I will stop here. Thank you Home Depot Dalton, GA for your GREAT customer service.

I love the knowledge and friendly service at home depot. the recommendations have been valuable to me and brought to purchase new items.

I make a trip to Home Depot about 3 times a week as I am remodeling my home. Each time I visit the store I am greeted at the entrance, emmidiatley I am approached by another employee asking what can he/she help me with and if they can't help me they'll get someone else who can. I never need to waist time searching for a store attendant. My daughter tells her friends that Home Depot for me is like the Mall for them and she's wright.
