The Danville store is a shining example of what a Home Depot shopping experience should be. The store is very clean, with a layout that's very easy to navigate. I was able to find what I needed quickly, and while I did not need assistance, each associate that my wife and I ran into were quick to offer it. Associates were the friendliest that we've encountered at any Home Depot store, and were always quick to greet us with a smile and a hello! Some would even make small talk, and we really appreciated how welcome they made us feel. We will definitely be repeat customers at the Danville store!

The store always has associates that will walk with you to the products that you wish to purchase and they are very helpful for those customers seeking products which they might not be able to locate in the store.

Very good overall experience. most of the time there is a rude lady at the cash register I think her name is Willy she is unprofessional to her other cashiers and the way she speaks to them. She is polite to other customers. She just doesn’t speak to her fellow cashier in a professional matter. Coaching other associate should be done else where alway from Customers like myself!

Customer service at the self checkout was better than in any other Home Depot where I have shopped.

This particular store constantly changes discounts for veterans I personally have two different IDs which they declined both it’s shameful

Be sure to ask for AL (at the contracting services desk) he was very helpful, pleasant and attentive to my mission. The store is generally well stocked. Many prices however were not clearly marked. More available staff is needed. I had to wait quite a bit before I was able to contact someone for help.

Placed an online order for pick up in store. One item missing and had to wait around for 30 minutes while they tried to locate the stock they were supposed to have so any convenience or time saving was completely lost. Associate on the Services Desk was surly and unconcerned, didn’t apologize once and seemed irritated by me even being there.

I would like to congratulate The Home Depot in Danville, VA for getting customer service right. First, I was approached by the employee and asked if I needed help. Second, they sent me directly to isle where the product was located. Third, they stayed with me and gave advise on which product I should purchase including the accessories needed to finish the job. Lastly, the check out person was friendly and fast.

This store have really improved on friendliness. My last experience was very positive and I enjoyed my visit. Every employee I passed was friendly and spoke. The store is always neat and well stocked. I have always liked the quality of the products at this location, but have not always made it my first choice because not so friendly employees on the sales floor. Cashiers are usually always friendly. This visit was a game changer. Hope they will stay this way.

I enjoy shopping at the Home depot store in Danville as they have a variety of now products on display for the holiday season that are priced appropriately.

The sales associate in the paint department was extremely helpful, and answered all my questions and explained how they applied to how I intended on using the paint. The cashier was smiling and friendly and put a nice finishing touch on my shopping experience. Now, if they could just move this store closer to Patrick Springs, VA.

We love this store! The prices are almost always lower than the competitors, and the staff is always more than happy to help however they can. For us that has especially been true of Eric & David out on the floor, Wendy & Carol in Paint and Brenda in checkout! They go the extra mile and always with a smile!

My coupon would not scan......cashier came to self checkout to help. Fast efficient....courteous!
