Linda the cashier was awesome. I hope she is here to help when I make another purchase. So friendly and helpful. It was the end of the day when people are usually grouchy and want to go home. But the staff here were happy.

George in the lumber section is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Customer service isn't great. Employees sit around talking and looking at guests vs greeting them and being eager to help. Installs are the worse, as they have to be paid for in advance and you have to wait to hear from the "installer" and the installer takes weeks to call you, after you were originally told 48hrs for a call to schedule installation at the rime of purchase. When you reach back out to the store the response you get is a very non caring..they will call you when they call you sort of response and told I am not sure how long it will be for them to call you...so the story changes after you've paid your money..and when you ask for a direct telephone number to call the installer the store tells you "your not going to get any help calling the number" either...this story really should want to do better and should be forced too..people spend a lot of money there and deserve good service

I enjoy how the employees are always so pleasant at Home Depot. They are helpful and actually make you feel good about shopping there.

If you want expert advice on buying a washing machine, go see Anne Riley in the appliance department. She is very knowledgeable and will guide you toward a product that will meet your specific needs -- at least she did for us.

Waste of time. Workers don't know anything. Workers are lazy and rude.

I spent over 40 minutes digging through well depleted shelves for nuts and bolts for a small task at my house. I wasn’t greeted by one employee “including a store manager” and spent almost 30 minutes walking around looking for a simple can of WD40. If it wasn’t for the cashier Mr John I would’ve left those items in the store and went somewhere else. Poor customer service!

All employees are polite and helpful even when they are busy and the store is closing.

The Dover Home Depot is one of the best stores to shop Dover DE Home Depot is the best! Customer service is great and employees and managers are so helpful. I’ve bought appliances, flooring, vinyl plank, marble tile, hardwood and carpet and have always received great products, installation, and service!

No matter the quantity , I buy, rain or shine, they always load it on my truck with a smile. their face . I could have the strangest request or questions , they will help me find the answer.

My Home Depot credit card was not working correctly but I had cashier MICHELLE take her time to help us figure out the situation. MICHELLE worked with us patiently to find the solution. Thank you very much!

I was going to rent tools from tool rental but as a former mechanic for this very store the tool rental shop was filthy. Every tool was dirty. Nothing been cleaned in a long time. Layers upon layers of dust/dirt on displays and tools

Walked up to the only open register, cashier was watching someone load their car. It wasnt until another employee asked if she was going to help the customer at her register that she even acknowledged me. Then the transaction seemed to confuse her and she had a terrible attitude towards me as if i was interrupting her. Do not recommend this location.

The store was understaffed but associates tried their best to assist customers. Check with the store before shopping. The inventory shown on the website does not match what is actually available in the store.

We love Anne Riley at the Dover, DE location she has helped us a couple times with purchasing appliances. She is so kind and informative. So funny and made the experience pleasant and easy! Thank you so much !

The store is at the top of my store list they seam to carry or they are able to get my items ordered in a timely manner.

I was buying paint and I recieved the best customer service from the ladies in this dept. I have done lots of shopping here over the last two years for a remodeling project and I can honestly say they made it a great experience

I am a female customer. I approached 3 male employees in the power tool section to ask for help. My engagement with them was professional and direct. One of them immediately began to sexually harass me -- to comment on my body, to call me "baby," "sweet thang," etc. The other two employees simply walked away and left me to deal with their creep coworker on my own. Home Depot needs to get their employees under control.

Totally unacceptable no concern of courtesy displayed to customer being inconvenienced. This is unsanitary and a health hazard. No option for zero stars.
