You can also call first to confirm a tool's availability, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your local store. If it's not, check another nearby store or contact our Rental Center associates to find where that tool is available. Can I rent a tool for an hour?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement jobs may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I bring the tools back?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you complete your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any grime and dust from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw blades come with power saw rentals?
Yes, saw rentals typically come with blades, but we recommend that you purchase your own. You probably won't get a sharp saw blade that comes with your rental. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, purchase a suitable blade, just in case.
