I went into the store to do a return and I got a customer service employee by the name of Robert. As I stood there while Robert was performing my return he noticed my watch and said man that’s a crazy watch does it fly I said no. He then noticed that my watch has the 49ers logo and said oh it’s the 49ers. When I answered him that my watch did not fly he told me that my watch was stupid. I was so shocked that you have an employee at your customer service desk that said that and I was was like um ok. When Robert was done with my return I turn around and left the store as I was going to buy some things BUT I will go to your competitor as I will not be call stupid for what I’m wearing. Shame on Homedepot for having an employee like that working for you and at the customer service desk no less.

All employees at this Home Depot always go beyond my Expectations! They are Excellent! Especially Chris from Appliances & Florian!

Almost all the employees are so friendly and expert in all the product. I like shopping at that store, seems a lot easier than the other stores and I enjoy talking to the older employees that they are on the floor, they go out of their way to help.

My wife and I just bought a new home in Carlsbad and have been busy making trips back and forth to HD's Encinitas store as well as the HD store in Vista on Melrose Ave. HD's customer service is second to none.

Each time I visit the Encinitas store I have been greeted and welcomed with positive attitude from the employees. Great store to buy all my DIY products.

I bought a plant for my livingroom and the garden dept staff were very helpful and kind.

I had a oddly sized front door that needed to be replaced. They were super helpful at the store and the installation crew were extremely professional. Great experience all the way through, including with the door vendor.

Most home depots slyly “ignore and avoid” shoppers but here everyone I’ve met is very engaging.

I received outstanding customer service and support from Catherine Larson, Design Consultant and Flooring Specialist at the Encinitas Store. She was very knowledgable, patient, and helpful in guiding me to make the right decisions regarding carpeting for my rental property. She was efficient without ever rushing me. And when I needed help getting the quote for the carpet job after the measurements were done, she did everything needed to produce a detailed estimate and to answer further questions of mine. Ask for Catherine regarding your flooring needs at the Encinitas store and you won't be disappointed!

I love this store. The staff are consistently available, helpful and friendly in all the departments. They are also knowledgeable, gladly answering questions about different materials and what is best for my DIY projects.

I am usually a loyal, happy, Home Depot customer, but my experience today was horrific. I went to buy a dishwasher after researching them online. I had narrowed my selection down to two models and wanted to see them in person. Thank goodness I had done my research, because the salesperson was not very knowledgeable. Then when I tried to make my purchase using a Home Depot gift card, the salesperson didn't know how to do it. Rather than walking me to the front of the store to get someone who could help me, he told me to "find someone at the front". I went to the service desk, they told me to order it online... I went back to appliances and finally found someone who thought she could do it. Then when I was looking for duct tape, I asked a salesperson, he told me to ask another salesperson! Really not impressed with the salespeople at Home Depot.

Not pushy or over crowded

I bought everything I needed for a move into storage and was especially happy to buy extra reinforced moving boxes in sizes, extra small, small, and medium plus mattress bags, which came in a extra heavy ply of plastic. They also carry Moving dolly platforms and moving blankets.

Had to go to the store to get a quote after measurement for carpet instead of getting an e-mail. Understaffed and delays. Took so long pulling up the quote because the people who were supposed to upload it never did and once it was completed I was told It wa 11 min past the time for me to get the 7 day install...all due to a computer problem. told me they would try to get the install done and that I would receive a call ....nothing. Called 4 times no one returning calls.

Helpful and friendly staff! Over all the store is organized. The bathrooms are kept clean!

The customer service desk is superb, the interaction feels like talking to a nice neighbor. They are generally nice and helpful.

Landscaping area is great. no photo or video

The Encinitas store is crazy busy especially at the Returns Desk. Glad to see they had at least 8 people there to support customers.

We drive extra distance to go to this particular store - the Garden Department is the best we've ever seen and the employees are super friendly and knowledgable

In the return department, the personnel is knowledgeable about all returns. Never have I had an employee question my reason for returning.

always go here for gardening items and household needs. Paint area is the best too.
