Incredible service in the paint department with Andy, and overall service for my pickup order from John. Andy goes over and above to provide his customers with the most comprehensive knowledge and research on paint selections. Amazing selection and prices!

The variety of stock makes this Home Depot the best location in North County. I especially like the Garden Center.

The employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You can always locate what you are looking for and more. It is a quick and easy checkout process. If you are shopping for an appliance the staff is very informed on the individual products and statistics.

The store is well organized and clean, and the staff are always friendly and helpful, often stoping what they are doing to answer questions and help.

Highly recommend this store! The staff are very knowledgable across sections of the store - particularly in the gardening and gutter sections where I was shopping. The home services section including painting and remodeling is also very helpful.

This store is one of the busiest Home Depots I know of. They always seem to have plenty of stock on the shelves.

I appreciate having a Home Depot in town. That said, I find that most of the products carried are average, in some cases cheaply made, pricing is decent usually but also comparable to the product quality. There are times when I would prefer a well made item & would pay more. This store specifically, more employees available would be nice. I almost always have to hunt for help.

Encinitas Home Depot is always a pleasure to visit. The staff is very friendly and well above the average when it comes to the knowledge of the items in store as well as online. No matter which department I’ve been to, there has always been a friendly staff member available to assist in my shopping needs. From the return desk all the way to Windy, the friendly contractors cashier, this Home Depot runs like a well oiled machine. You are treated as a valued customer every time. The selection is great but I would recommend you check on store availability if you are looking for large quantities.

HD has a large variety of home and garden related products, and the associates can be very knowledgable about them and how to use them or lead you to what you need when you're uncertain about it.

clean store always there for us

Even though this store is crazy busy, there seemed to be plenty of employees to help. One area of concern was my register clerk wasn't wearing his mask correctly. We are living in a pandemic -- and things are not getting better. Until this situation is taken seriously, and NOT a political issue, we will be not get thru this. My clerk had his nose hanging over his mask -- totally inappropriate. I felt very uncomfortable.

Kimberlee at the Returns counter is amazing. Sweet, patient, and helpful. However, I do not enjoy the store layout as the main front isle and all the other store isles are cluttered with pallets of impulse buy items. These pallets slow my shopping and make visiting Home Depot stores frustrating. As a result, I have diverted tens of thousands of dollars of purchases to L o w e s as their stores are cleaner, more organized, have less isle clutter, and are easier to navigate.

The store is always clean. The cashiers are constantly wiping their area down. Diana the cashier was super friendly, caring, and extremely helpful.

The customer service was really great. They had everything I needed in stock. And The cashier was knowledgeable and help me to save money! The process was super easy. Juan is awesome.

I love Home Depot, Everyone in the store is so friendly and helpful. They make picking up necessities a pleasure. The store is over the top clean, which is essential these days when considering where you shop. Looking forward to my next visit.

I hate going to this store, but its the closest to where I live. Having waited in line for 5 mins, the customer service clerk directed mr to an aisle that was about two aisles away from where the item I wanted was located, but fortunately I found a store employee who directed me to the right place. (I never got his name).When I was checking out and paying for my item, the cashier Bonnie was very friendly and recommended I completed the survey which I did.

feels very unsafe to shop in the store as they do not adhere to PPE requirements.. store is generally disorganized, dirty and today again they were out of items I was looking to purchase.. items that were in stock were so mixed up that it was impossible to buy anything in a quantity of 3 or 4

I went to Encinitas HD store today to pick some outdoor paint and was shocked to see how little do they care to follow COVID safety measures. Gentlemen at the paint department had his mask below nose and mouth, was touching face very often and than he would go on to hand the paint can w/o and cleaning and hand sanitation... this is not the first time they we see this store grossly departing from the standards that other Home Depot stores in the area follow.. so you are better of driving an extra 10-15 minutes and going to Melrose or Vista stores than exposing yourself to unsafe environment in this one
