In the line of work I’m in I am always shopping at home improvement stores. Since I walked into this store I haven't been anywhere else. All the employees are friendly and helpful. Braden at the pro desk is awesome! Everyone should go and check this store out!

Helpful and knowledgeable staff

I bought a 4' x 8', 7/16" OSB plywood and required a single cut. The cut was over 1/2" incorrect. I returned to the same store once I found the incorrect cut. I requested another piece be cut and this cut was incorrect as well. It was off by 1/4". The person that cut the plywood said this was acceptable. This wasted 1 1/2 hours of my time and nearly three gallons of gas. This makes the plywood, if I were to keep the incorrectly cut piece, over $20.00 from the original price of $14.75.

Wish these big box stores would have more native plants that are not for Miami.

I came here to get look at/buy new floors for my house. Everyone was super helpful. I didn't feel rushed like another big store in town always makes me feel. Even texting the customer service person to finalize details was easy and painless. I don't know much about floors, but everything was explained to me and helpful suggestions were made. For this to be a pretty big purchase, I didn't feel pressured into an upsell. Everyone I had to deal with from making the appointment, to the person who came to measure, to the finalizing of plans and point of purchase were super nice and helpful. Definitely coming back here for future home improvement projects.

I go in this store at least 5 times a week. Most the staff is so cool like Dez & the manager Joe even the girls in customer service with a return. I always get a wave & joke with almost every one. Today not so. I have once had a previous bad experience with Britnei when she worked lumber so I try to avoid her. I know 2 other vendors who was with me & said that’s how she always is to them. Today I was on the other end of the store in garden & couldn’t avoid it. She told me place my items on the counter that was large that she could easily scan. I asked her to scan them. she refused & got super aggressive & rude. Thankfully an assistant manager stepped in & continued my faith in the brand. So I’m only writing this bad review to let upper management aware of this cancerous behavior before it diminishes all the hard work the great employees do.

This store is the best place to go

I work with a non profit for military families and we reached out to Home Depot for donations for a building project to better support military families in our community. The folks here went above and beyond to help us, especially their manager Joe! From the moment we walked into the store, to the moment we left, their entire team of associates was helpful and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond. We are so thankful for their donation and contribution to our local military community!

Just when it seems like it’s a lost art, here comes Joe from the Home Depot. Outstanding customer service which made my shopping experience 10x better than I could have imagined. He is friendly and truly wants you, the customer, to have a wonderful experience while correcting any issues you may have. Thanks Joe!

Mike came out to measure for two rooms of carpet. The measure appointment progressed smoothly. The only irritation was two separate charges for the installation address being outside the catchment area of the selling store. The major irritation was paying for the order. My wife and I drove to the store to return the borrowed samples and pay. The written order didn’t match the quote; items were missing. The associate wanted me to accept the order as written (at the slightly lower price). The associate didn’t have a good answer when I asked what the recourse would be when the installer did NOT show up with the required item that didn’t appear on the sales order.

The older gentleman that works the washer dryer section is always polite and helpful. I wish I had his name but his hair is white and he wears glasses. If another employee is responsible for the section’s product I’m needing, he has always taken the time for a warm hand-off. He was patient and took the time to answer all my questions when purchasing my washer and dryer Aug 2023 at the Fort Walton location.

As a property manager I make trips to The Home Depot quite often with a list of things to pick up. What I like the most is how I can go on my local store website for an item it will tell me how many are in stock, what isle and bay I can find it, making my trips fast and efficient so I can be on my way.

We had all three toilets replaced to update. Home Depot did an excellent job. My only negative observation is that they didn't send enough help, and that one of the toilets may need further attention.

Always have a great experience there. Todd in deliveries is always so helpful anywhere you need it.

I have used the Fort Walton Beach Home Depot to provide many installation services, including appliance installations, the installation of granite countertops in three kitchen remodels, and one bathroom remodel. The quality of the workmanship has always been excellent; the workmen/workwomen have always been topnotch professionals. Being able to rely upon this quality of work is so appreciated and makes life just a little bit easier.

Some of the employees are real cranky, not helpful, always huddle & talking to each other, always cluttered, I'm very disappointed how run down this location has become!
