Great store, clean, organized, friendly staff, good signage to indicate where things are.

Lately it appears that customers have to check out their own products instead of having an employee do that at the registers. Yet I seem to see one or more of them standing around doing nothing! So why not go back to having more registers open and les self serve ones.

I was in quick need of a dryer and this home depot happened to have a floor model for purchase which had a clearance price of $800. I got it home and installed it works great! However I happened to look up what I purchased on the website. $800 was the regular price and it had a "Special Buy" price of $648 with free delivery (LG dryer Model# DLE7100W). I know this company policy but it's really dishonest to put out the floor model as clearance which is actually regular price. If a cheaper price is advertised regardless of if I needed it now or would have to wait 2-3 weeks for delivery it should have had the sale price on it instead of "clearance" full price.

Item was in stock. Cashier was very friendly. However, item was not delivered on scheduled delivery date. $79 delivery fee does not ensure that you get your order delivered as scheduled. I had to call the store to get an update on the status of my order the day after the scheduled delivery date to find out what was going on. Very disappointing. If what you want to purchase doesn't fit in your vehicle, don't buy it here.

This is a very Good Store,but they sometimes seem short-handed. Usually around some Holidays.

Every employee at this store, has always been very helpful. They are very knowledgeable and even has taken me to the location of the product. The store is always clean and organized.

Lumber associate was very kind even with my many questions. He made recommendations and cut the drywall to size for me to fit in my car.

The store is clean and organized. We were able to find what we needed rather quickly. The store associates are friendly and knowledgeable.

The customer service department is horrible. They do not know the concept of being customer friendly and they give the appearance that they don’t give a crap about their jobs or performance. The floor people never ask you if you need help rather they look the other way and quickly walk by you. The appliance, carpet and blinds sections are good and courteous. But God help you if you need assistance from customer service because it is not going to happen.

The store was nice and easy to find things. The workers were helpful!

I want to congratulate this store for taking the precautions to keep customers safe. I feel very comfortable going there knowing that I'm in a safe environment. I'm doing some home improvements and I have to go to the store very often to get some materials and every time I go there I see all the staffs wearing their mask, cleaning the carts and counting the customers that are allowed to be in the store.

Today, May 6th was the first time I had to wait in line outside the store to enter. I was not aware of the 75 person limit inside the store. The line moved along as quickly as possible, I guess. The employee that was giving us permission to enter was very friendly.

Gates NY Store is great, especially Ron (RJB2809) in Appliances. He's always there & ready to assist me. Great Rep! Thank You Ron!

This store stands out amongst other stores in Rochester New York. It's always clean. It has the best kayout floor plan and the employees are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Thanks for being there! I recommend this store over other Home Depot locations in Rochester New York.

This is store is always clean, staff is always helpful, and lines move fast at checkout.

I go to this store very often because it is closer to my residence, but I don't only go there because of distance I also go there because staff are very friendly and make me feel welcome every time I go there.

The store was easy to get around and staff directed where to go.

Clean store and help from customer service

My husband and I have always enjoyed our shopping experience at Home Depot ! This have been our go-to store for over 13 years and will continue to be. The staff is friendly, and down to earth and always helpful. The store is clean and well lit so you are able to see what you are getting.

I always get great service at the paint counter.
