The service at this location is terrible. The employee that helped us today in the garden dept was very rude and unprofessional. FAYE denied my military ID because I was the child of the military. My father is an airman who is currently serving his 35th year. For her to deny my discount so rudely made me feel like She had no respect for the people that protect her country. This is not only a reflection on the Imperial Beach location but on the company itself. I understand if I had no proof, But had my ID and provided all the right information, it's clear that it isn't enough for Home Depot

I really like the Imperial Beach store. However, I find myself chasing the clerks for help. I would like to have an employee greet us at the door and asks as clients what we are looking for and direct us to the department. I noticed that you have enough workers to be proactive with the clients rather than reactive. Sometimes the workers are not up to date as to where certains items are located. Sometimes they will say just go that way. With communication being so advanced they should be able to call someone at the other department and inform them that they are sending a customer looking for a certain item. I make this suggestion, because I'm the kind of person that knows what I need and all I need is to get it but may need assistance from the clerks to make sure I'm getting the right item. I love my I B store and thank you for your services.

Great store with friendly, knowledgeable employees available to assist DIYers like me. Easy parking, fast return counter, big paint department, garden and BBQ selection.

Home depot is my favorite place to spend an hour coming up with new projects around the house, there's just so many things I would like to do around my place. Now having said that, If your going to browse the store and come up with projects on your own, this store is perfect. Their customer service is horrible, you'd be lucky to have an employee make eye contact with you or smile, at that. This Store has a lot of friends having on personal conversations, laughing and blatantly keeping their back to customers. If you have the time, and care about your shopping experience, consider another HD location or big box store all together. During my last visit I came to a dilemma, I was replacing locks around the house and I was curious what made higher priced locks better than some of the more moderately priced home entry locks. I was able to get a young woman's attention as she was restocking a nearby shelf. My question to her was "Do you know a lot about locks? I have a few technical questions." Yes, I do. Then she goes back to stocking the shelves. ( REALLY??) when I finally get her to help me, I ask what seperates these two locks from one another? Her response was, those ones are more better. Seriously, MORE BETTER? do yourself a favor and do your own research before shopping here.

The workers here are so helpful in all your needs and show a genuine interest in your projects. I will always come here just for the relationships I have with these wonderful people.

If you need something and cannot find it the store employees (and sometimes even other customers) are more than willing to help. Extremely friendly employees almost always have a smile. Store is usually clean, well stocked and departments are organized.

The Imperial Beach store is excellent! The staff is very helpful and kind. I always find the products I need, at good prices.

Yes I would recommend the store, I DO NOT recommend buying any appliances or special orders! I bought a dryer, it was delivered and it didn't work. After spending a lot of time with different phone numbers (I have 10 phone numbers I went through) and a lot of stress, I finally got an appointment for a repair person to come out in 4 days, and if he can't fix it, who knows how long tell I can get it replaced! I am in tears after my experience! With 3 boys, my husband, my mom, and me we have a lot of laundry and not a lot of spare time and now I have to sit in a laundry mat while I have a brand new dryer at my house. So don't be like me and think, "Well it's brand new, why wouldn't it work?" It's probably not the first time this has happened, and I'm sure it won't be the last. Do your homework, find out what happens if it doesn't work, can you bring it back to the store, and return it same day? At this point I would recommend craigslist over this experience, at least you could see the product working before you took it home. BEWARE!

Went in to take advantage of the great black Friday promotion on appliances. My wife and I purchased a refrigerator, slidein range and dishwasher.We saved over $2000 dollars with the promotion and were able to get 0% financing for 24 months. On top of the great deal for exactly what we wanted Gabe in the appliance department was awesome. He was great to talk with, very informative with our options with financing and delivery and never once did we feel like we were dealing with a salesman.

Cashier Chris was very nice and worked fast and diligently. Ingrid needs more online classes in customer service and sales. She needs to understand how important every single customer is to HD. Regardless of the purchase amount. today i spent .99$ tomorrow i will spend 500.00. A ASM needs to address this issue.

Julie the cashier was excellent. We always look for her line as she gives the best friendly service. Also, I just found out that you carry fresh cut flowers. The prices were excellent and the flowers lasted a long time.

Everywhere we go in this store the employees are extremely knowledgeable and easy to find. They give great suggestions for whatever project we are working on and then they help us find our supplies. The cashiers, especially Julie, are friendly and knowledgeable as well.

Lisa came to us as we were looking at wrenches and offered her assistance. She continued to help us throughout our shopping experience, as we had a request for a when we asked for a work bench, she took us to the exact item we wanted, then proceeded to attain two individuals to help us lift our bench. Then Lisa personally opened a counter to check us out, and attained two different assistants to help us lift the work bench into our vehicle. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient, and kind.

Mike in the paint department had excellent customer service. If you need help ask for him. DO NOT go to the older Latina woman, she acts like you're bothering her & she looks at her cell phone all the time. She is NOT friendly AT ALL!!!! Save yourself from her bad customer service & go to Mike. I'm going back to this store because of Mike's customer service.
