I would rate 0 stars if I could. Service on my visit was atrociously, unapologetically bad. There are other choices in Jackson. I would recommend you use them.

The curbside is a joke. You still have to go inside after waiting 15 minutes in the parking spots. I then hade a rude employees make it feel like its your fault for being understaffed. The lady at the service desk immediately hit me with tons of attitude when I walked in from waiting at curbside, how am I suppose to respond when I had no clue what was going on? I didn't know their machine was down and it was just her. She could've sent someone to my car? She could've apologized when I initially walked up, she literally couldve done anything else than what she did, but she made it out to me being problem that she had to work and she was so classless and rude. Her and her coworker then tagged team me with nonsense and rude comments bc I wanted a refund. It was truly a joke. How am I, the customer, supposed to take this and not defend myself. The manager, Nick, did absolutely nothing to try to calm either of them down or diffuse the situation. When I asked for my receipt the one cashier pulled her masked down and yelled at me so much attitude, "I'm gettin it." This was professionalism at its finest! (Sarcasm) This isn't my first rude/bad encounter at this store! Getting help locating things is impossible. The bathrooms always appear to be dirty. It is cluttered and unorganized and everything looks unkept.The service desk has always been difficult with returns and exchanges. Cashiers and stockers have treated lumber and other items carelessly damaging them. I intentionally ordered my items online so I would not have to deal with this staff. Unfortunately, it appears the staff thrives on belittling and bullying customers and still forces them to walk insideso they can instigate drama and then cry victim when a customer stands up for themselves. All the while "management" (Nick) just sits back and allows this to happen.

I appreciate the great experience today, we were approached by a floor person to assist and he knew immediately which isle. The cashier, Artie, was very polite, professional,but more importantly, PRESENT, meaning we were not a distraction but his main focus. That is rare these days! Thank you! Michelle L.

I have always had a great shopping experience at Home Depot. The employees are very helpful and friendly.

I started shopping at Home Depot in 2000 when I became a homeowner for the first time. Now, I will never choose to shop at Home Depot again. I had a horrible experience with a manager in the Customer Service area. I tried to use my Home Depot store credit to purchase a carbon monoxide alarm for my new home. The store credit card was displaying some sort of ‘offline message at the register. When I went to customer service to let the manager know, she said there was no way for her to track and tell if the card had been used before. I told her that I had just scratched the back of the card to access the required code at the register. I asked the self-checkout cashier to come over and tell the manager that I had just scratched the card minutes earlier in the store. The manager only honored my store credit because her employee said that this was my first time using the card. If that cashier had not told her that, the manager was not going to allow me to use the credit to make my purchase. Because of this, I will never set foot in that Home Depot again.

If you are looking to buy an appliance, I highly recommend you speak with Brenda. I have 30 years of retail experience and I have never seen such commitment to customer service and this person had. I will continue to drive 50 miles to the store in order to be able to have that rare service.

Store not enforcing mask mandate by mayor for shoppers or associates

Rude customer service. Young men in lumber department did not want to help with loading materials. They acted as if our money doesn't pay for their jobs. Overall poor customer service!

Our cashier, Ms. Song, was exceptionally nice and went above and beyond to help myself and several other customers at the same time. She definitely deserves acknowledgement. She is the best cashier / employee I've had.

Our store here in Jackson is full of helpful employees; I also appreciate the cleanliness and organization. I recently decided to stop in during a bike ride and forgot my mask. I appreciated the fact that there was a table set out at the entrance with masks, sanitizers and gloves. Instead of having to forgo my shopping trip, I was able to come in, safely shop and get my needed items. Great job, team!

Had an on line order and all was handled well thru ordering and pick up. Am an 85 year old female and they were very respectful.

While the associate in the sales area was very informative and helpful we were rudely ignored after getting checked out and asked for assistance loading our purchase.

I am a 34 year old woman-wife and mom of two. I went to Home Depot by myself today to purchase a push mower and a weed eater. I probably should have taken my husband but I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t need him today! Nearly immediately when I turned around, an associate was standing near me. I waved and he came right over. I could tell he was smiling behind his mask! He showed me the model I was interested in and assisted me in grabbing everything I needed. He even gave me options. He also took the time to show me the open box model-Which I GLADLY purchased because it saved me $100! I couldn’t believe this! Mark was truly helpful, courteous, KIND, and very knowledgeable about the things I purchased. I wish I could have given him commission on my sale. He deserved it. Home Depot needs more people like him, and he should be in management because it’s people like him that make great management. Another customer briefly interrupted us to ask him a question and he was very kind to the man and helped point him in the right direction to another department without losing focus on what we were doing. His ability to offer assistance in other departments was great too. He’s a multitasker! Thank you for the great experience and we will be back. We’ve already used our mower and weed eater and we thoroughly enjoy the results. And again, MARK is fantastic! Blessings!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

The store was straight, clean and organized. There seem to be fewer associates than in years past, however, they are friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. Can not always say that about their competition. Will remain a return customer and use my Home Depot charge card.

Attention to customer service very helpful.

The employees were just working for the paycheck. Not the customer. Dont bother coming If you need help finding something. Even the adults act like teenagers.

Customer Service is always exceptional when I go into the store. Nick, James, Brenda, and Vic are awesome representatives. They always provide me the highest degree of customer service, when I am working on Home Projects.

Store had great service and personable friendly staff. Making for a great experience even with the covid issues going on.

The store is well organized. More than anything, the customer service was fantastic (especially compared to other stores). Walking through Home Depot, we were repeatedly asked by friendly associates if we needed anything and were met with full competency whenever we did have questions. Even though it's an hour from home, it's definitely worth the drive for the quality.

This store is really good with employee help. Over the last year I've mad several trips and purchased over $3,500 worth of supplies as I renovate a house. Always very pleased to shop here.

I will be back here to do my shopping instead of other stores that are similar.
