This is one of the BIGGEST STORES IN CUSTOMER SERVICE even though it may not the largest in size or selection. From the time you pass by the service desk with Sheila and other great staff members, through the aisles filled with eager, attentive, and knowledgeable associates such as Elizabeth, to the cashiers too numerous to name (even at the "self service" checkouts), this Home Depot comes the closest to the best attributes of the local hardware store atmosphere we appreciate and look forward to.

From entering the store, associates were helpful and friendly. We needed assistance with a garage door purchase. Todd was EXTREMELY friendly, helpful and patient. Very impressive!!

The head cashier Sue needs a new attitude but Todd and Tom from mill work need a raise. I spend a ton of money at this store every year as a contractor (200-300K) and they went above anything they need too to make my orders easy, pleasant and cost efficient. Sue on the other hand thinks that she is gods gift to the world. I have dealt with her a few times and shes is always rude and stuck up. I don't think she is a good face for the company and sadly she is the reason I started to travel to other stores. I would rather spend more money than to deal with someone who doesn't like their job or company. I hope Somebody reads this review and understands Im a very patient and caring person, but something needs to be sad to her. Please give Todd and Tom My best and I hope them great success in the company!

Great customerservice from the folks in doors and paint. Danny and Harold were awesome as were the two in the Paint dept. Removed one star for the store rating just due to staffing numbers. Both depts are constantly busy and the staff bust their behinds to help everyone quickly but it takes awhile to get what you need

This Home Depot has the best customer service in Southeast Connecticut. The staff is superb. Sharon and Jim in the paint department we friendly and knowledgeable. They made our experience so enjoyable.

I inadvertently left my tablet at the Customer service desk. I called this store after hours and the call was answered by Security! He found this tablet and secured it for my retrieval the following day. The next day, my tablet had been secured in the store safe...Totally impressed.

Nice clean store. I received good help from an associate when selecting a door to purchase. I just wish that Home Depot concentrated on offering more Made in America products. Too much product from China.

I walked in the store looking for counter tops and walked away very very happy! If you are looking for kitchen cabinets , counter tops accessories etc. Teddy is who you want to talk to. He is very nice and knowledgeable in and out!

I enjoy shopping at Home Depot. They always seem to have just what I am looking for. Also, I have purchased things that I did not intend to buy just because it was on sale. Great place to shop. If you are not happy with the person helping you then seek another person for help.

I was very pleased that the paint department was able to help fix a color of paint I purchased that was not quite what I expected just by lighting the paint. I have dealt with several store employees who have been very helpful in my tasks to pick out paint which was not an easy tasks for me. They took the time to show me how the machine works in regards to selecting the right color for the right room and how important it is to factor in how much light is in the room really makes a difference.

Young associate named Mike in appliances went above and beyond helping a customer. He went out of his way to find the product we were looking for and made sure when he found it it was in good shape. Very kind, helpful and courteous. Made shopping a pleasure!

Chris from paint went above and beyond to help me. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me and made my experience very pleasant. I will definitely be going back for my next project.
