This store is very convenient for me . It always has the items I need . The help in this store knows all about the problems I bring to them and solve them .

No one is ever available to help. Waited in the appliance section for 45 minutes for someone to wait on us. There were 3 desks in the csbinet section. Only one desk was waiting on a customer. There were 2 people sitting at the other desks doing nothing. I asked one of the gentleman a question. He answered and went right back to his desk. Wasn't interested in helping. I finally flagged down another employee who was just walking by. She wasn't familiar with appliances but checked us out. How can no one work in the appliance section on Presidents' Day when there is a big sale! An awful experience! As it was, my order was wrong. I should have checked the receipt better but after being there for 2 hours just to order a washer & dryer, I wanted out.

I got what I needed quickly

This store was organized and clean. It was easy to find the items I was looking to buy. The store had good amount of employees on the floor, who were friendly and helpful. Check out was fast !

Maggie went out of her way to help me because she could not find someone in hardware to help me. She is a very happy and upbeat and who I look for when I check out or if I need help.

Super customer service.

The people at this store are phenomenal!! I am always greeted by a friendly smile. Anytime I have a question, I get expert assistance from the associates. The selection is great! I know that if I am stuck in the middle of a repair I can send an associate or family member over to pick something up and the associates will provide them the same level of help that I get when I am in the store. The ProDesk crew is especially helpful. They make sure there is an extra-strong pot of coffee ready when they see me come in. They work hard to get me the best deal possible on everything I buy. They have gone above and beyond on numerous occasions to ensure that I get what I need to make my business more successful. This is my local store, and I do most of my business here. But there have been occasions where I have had to go to other locations because of where the job is located. I am both proud and sad to say that I never get the same level of service from any other store. This store has set my expectations pretty high, so I am always disappointed by my experience at other locations.

this store is always clean and has ample parking. staff is always willing to assist and will offer assistance with out prompting.

In the last couple of weeks customer service has seemed to decline. I am told there was a management change. I will follow the former manager of this store, take my future business to the Latham NY location.

This is my go to place while I am remodeling my childhood home. To me it is like my family....I know employees by name. It seems there is an expert in my every need. I have been thoroughly educated in the art of understanding and selecting windows, doors, shutters, tile, hardwood flooring, water systems...all of which I have bought here. My home is now a showpiece of quality windows, shutters, kitchen cabinets with unique glass windows dripping copper, an eye catching blue countertop with glass back splash to catch the colors, Jacuzzi tub and bathroom fixtures, interior Feather River doors (exquisite), hardwood elevator doors., hardwood flooring for a finished basement. Installs are fast and professional. Prices via the auction process...Amazing savings!

I brought a touch lamp into the store, which I thought needed a replacement bulb. Anthony and Al assisted me in the North Greenbush Store, and I was very impressed with their friendly attitude and helpfulness. They tried two different bulbs and discovered that the touch lamp needed the communication box replaced. They spent a good 15 minutes on a very inexpensive item, but were determined to solve the problem.

I usually go to the HD on Washington Ave in Albany, and at N. Greenish when in that area for convenience. They are both great locations as well as the one in Latham

I have been shopping at this store since it opened and have never had a bad experience when there and needed assistance finding something or asking for advise on products needed to complete my project. When an item was not available in store they always check other locations to see if that item is in stock for pick up and ask to put a hold on it for me to go and get.

The store was extremely clean, associates were great... as usual, and everything I was there for was very easy to find and stocked plentiful. Overall, it was an extremely happy and satisfying experience for me. Thanks so much!!

I was contacted by a store asst. management a few weeks ago about the store issues. And asked to please return to the store as a new manager has taken over. So I returned today to trash and debris in isles in front of items I needed to get no sales personal around had to walk owner junk to get the items I needed! Check out and my elderly father and I almost get run over by a fork lift driver on in the way out in the loading area with only one guide that was clearly not doing his job not a good day for North Greenbush Home Depot ! I took pictures of trash and products on floor in isles

An older gentleman in plumbing at the North Greenbush NY store named Michael is so terribly rude. He doesn't want to help and totally embarrasses you in the process.

The associates are very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to be sure you have everything you came in the store for !!! They keep the place very clean. Just have not had any negative customer service there !!! We recommend this store to all our friends and family !!!!

Dear Home Depot Representative, I went to the East Greenbush, NY, Home Depot of May 4, 2017. I was shopping for lumber to make two brackets to support a stoop at the back of my house. I walked through the lumber section and decided to use 2x12's. I quickly looked through the few boards remaining and determined they were the left-over dregs. I saw there was an employee bundling a pallet of materials at the end of the aisle. Probably for an order to be picked up in the morning. I went over and asked if he could bring down a new bundle. He stopped what he was doing, said yes, and went to get a forklift. He and a co-worker secured the aisle, promptly put the bundle in the rack, and went back to work. I leaned later his name was Dan. I picked through the new bundle of lumber and found three boards I liked. I then loaded the boards on a cart and went over to the chop saw area to get the boards cut to length. I found an employee and asked if he could cut the boards for me. He said yes and said he would be back. He took care of some customers and came back in short time. He sawed the boards to the dimensions I gave him and asked if I needed anything else. I said no and he went to help other customers. I then decided I needed some scrap lumber I would use as cauls to laminate the 2x12's together. I sorted through the pieces of scrap and found several pieces that would work, but needed to be cut to a proper length. I found the same employee and asked if he could saw these pieces to length. He said yes and said he had to help some other customers first. I waited near the saw for a while until his return. When he returned, he quickly sawed the pieces to the required length and then went back to helping other customers. I later learned this employee's name is Brandon. I could tell the lumber area was shorthanded. I am very appreciative of the time and focus Dan and Brandon gave to my needs. I know my order was small, picky, and a pain in the you-know-what. But, I was made to feel that it was as important as any other order. Brandon was particularly good at providing me what I needed. Dan was also very good. Dan could have easily said he couldn't bring down another bundle of lumber. Brandon could have easily said he was too busy. He was. They both were. But, Brandon took the time and care to help me with my order. Dan, too. They were both fantastic. They both deserve my praise. I've gone to home improvement stores before and received less than desirable service. Dan and Brandon are way above average. They went above my expectations and gave their best effort. I commend Brandon and Dan for their excellent customer service. And patience. And thoroughness. They were busy. Harried. Trying to get things done. They took time away from a task I interrupted and gave me their best. I am thankful. Home Depot should be grateful for two great employees. I am. I am on the fence here as to whether I will go back again. The associate I was dealing with was short handed in her dept. so there was quite a wait time (the first time I went). Also, if an item is on sale, HD will not provide a Veteran with a discount, which I think is very sad. Because of this, I am honestly thinking about not shopping at HD any more. Although the associate did tell me, HD does do a lot of volunteering for our veterans. I think whether an item is on sale or not, the veteran should be entitled to the 10% discount. Our veterans have put their lives on the line for us, shouldn't they, at the very least, get the 10% discount? Just really made me sad and discouraged.

Sales associate Nic in lighting was amazing can't say enough about him. If all people were that helpful and friendly what a great world we would live in.

The paint department was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions.

We have purchased major appliances and simple repair items. We are now in the process of doing some remodeling and because of a friend who highly recommended Home Depot for our remodel we have encountered some wonderful people. I have great confidence in the contractors and the associates from this store that we will not be disappointed. My husband always finds the items he is looking for when he is working on a project in the house. Aisles are clearly marked so we can find the items and if we need there is always someone to ask and takes the time to walk to the aisle with you. I even stopped the store manager to let him know about Steve from appliances, Pam from Kitchen Design and Sam from Millwork.

DO NOT utilize this store for ordering doors. I have a 6 week delay on a time sensitive project because the store gave me a damaged bifold door, that needed to be reordered and could not expedite the order. Additionally the second door in my order had a damaged hinge which you would think would simply need the replacement part . Instead because the staff in the door department could not get an "order" number for the part I was given a gratis hinge which is different from the original one. I since then called the door company, Masonite and they will send me a hinge to my home. Unfortunately I am still being told there is no way to "expedite" my order. I should have learned from my flooring experience which was a nightmare because they discontinued the groutable floor tile product between my order date and install which is too painful to relive.
