Best customer service and products in Peoria

Our local Bettendorf, Iowa store experience was a ZERO!! the employee that tried to order a lawn mower for us, brianpaul, was rude, carried on conversation with his coworkers while we waited for him to place our order and asked us 3 times for our name, address, etc.!! I drove 210 miles round trip to this Home Depot in Peoria, Illinois today and I was treated wonderfully!! Amy, the cashier, was eager to assist me.. the whole process from me entering the store to Dwayne loading the mower in our car took less than 25 minutes. I will definitely go back to this Home Depot..even if I have to drive 210 miles!

The store is 5 min away and usually always has what I need. If not the sales person offers help and advice.

This store was full of helpful, friendly people. I was able to find what I needed and when Dawn checked me out she re-loaded all my flowers in the carts which was very nice. I got assistance out of the store to load and was asked, "Is there anything else I can help you with?" How nice. What a contrast from some of the other big box stores.

Customer service is outstanding at this store.

The store is always neat and tidy. There are employees covering the sales floor if I ever need assistance. They know the store products and are able to answer any questions I might have.

first time shopper at home depot and was blown away by the customer service from all employess! Menards and Lowes no longer have a customer here!

The staff and management are very helpful. It is a small Home Depot, but they have a fair amount of product.

Went to a rival store and you almost had to steal something to get help, they walk by you as if your not there, if u do ask where something is they give you directions to get to it home depot employees take you to where it is do some fitting if necessary then ask if there is anything else they can help you with. Big difference, don't you think?

I love my shopping experience at The Home Depot

Store completely messed up my special order that we paid for four months before cabinets were supposed to be ordered. They ignored numerous emails from Thomasville about paying for the cabinets and in turn Thomasville cancelled the cabinet order. Home Depot kept the money after the order was cancelled. I called and set up the delivery I thought. Was told no problem order taken care of and even given an estimated delivery date. Then as the delivery date got closer a month later that's when I found out that the order was cancelled 2.5 months earlier and never ordered. Construction k home pushed back by a couple weeks currently which I have to pay for thanks to Home Depot. Finally get the cabinets in and delivered then I find out the day before installation is to be completed that they countertop company can't do the template or the countertops because we love too far away. Never mind that they were now paid for 5 months ago. Now I have order countertops from somewhere else and push the contractor back even further not to mention pay for them again while I wait for Home Depot to cut the refund check which I should have in about 21 days.

Love Home Depot, especially this store. The staff are friendly and willing to help you find what you need regardless of your expertise.

This store is awesome and the staff is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable! They don't say, "that's not my job, you'll have to wait for ____". They jump in and try to help from start to finish. I will never shop anywhere else!

The guy in the tool section took the extra time to go look up the specs on the Ryobi tools I was looking at for comparison. He got the information I needed to help me make a good decision and I got the right tool for me !

EMPLOYEES FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!

Staff friendly and cooperative; however, it's sometimes difficult to locate a store associate when I have a question.

My last visit was great. Found what I wanted quickly and was able to check out easily at return desk.

The Peoria Home Depot has always been stocked well and very friendly and helpful employees. We shop at it often because of the quality and pricing.

the employees need lots more training

There are many employees that provide good customer service at this store. I had a particularly good experience with an employee, Orlando, who went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for.

Was looking to buy a battery drill for a Christmas gift and Steve was the man for the job. He new all the pros and cons with the various drills, and was able to help me pick out the one that would be best.

Was in the store 3 different times total trying to decide on my kitchen appliances. and each time All of the associates in the appliance department were more then helpful in helping me decide brand and color for my new kitchen. Actually, wherever i was looking in the store there would be an associate asking if i needed any help. So I have confidence that whatever I was looking for the associates would have taken the time to help as the appliance department did. Been in many other stores where you run all over trying to find someone who will help you so frustrating. I just wish Home Depot was located closer to my home as I would be shopping there for all of my home improvements.

This was a great experience. The store had someone at the door to help customers locate specific items if they wished. Also, when we bought a washer a sales person was there to help and answer questions. Very knowledgeable. Above and beyond other stores who have very few people to assist, and sometimes when they do they aren't much help as they don't know about the department they are in. Great experience!!

I found all items I needed in this store. I asked for help, the employee walked with me to get the items and explained my options. The store is pretty clean. The associate who helped was supper friendly.

The employees were very friendly and helpful upon entering the store. Everything is very organized and easy to see/find. It's a friendly nice place to shop! Were waited on very promptly and our salesman was very helpful, and knowledgeable about the product.

The staff at Home Depot is exceptionally friendly and helpful, going above and beyond what I have seen in other stores. They are more than willing to help and do so with a good attitude.
