The Salem store is always clean and in order. They generally have products in stock. My only complaint is the staff. They have 1 person who works in plumbing and wears measuring tape suspenders who is amazing, incredibly helpful and friendly and bends over backwards to try to help. I’ve also had great customer service by the woman who works in window treatments. Aside from that when I can get someone to stop and help which is hard depending on who is there, they either say they don’t work that department and walk away or they don’t know anything about the department that they do work in. I’ve left the store completely unsatisfied about 75% of the time.

I'm 67 yrs old and have been shopping here for years. I always manage to find what I need at this store. The employees I approach are generally pleasant and helpful and will more often than not lead me directly to what I'm lookiing for and are willing to answer questions if asked. My only complaint is that there should be at least 3 personal cashiers at all times. Usually there's 2 or sometimes only 1 along with the self-checkout which can back things up in and of itself. It would also be helpful to hire more people to work the aisles while I'm shopping. The store is always organized and neat. My favorite one.

The store location is convenient and the staffs were friendly and professional in their answers to questions. The store was clean and items conspicuously arranged for customers to identify.

I enjoy going here even though it means I have to work on my house. Everything is accessible and there are plenty of employees around to ask questions. I just needed paint and stuff today and the counter woman was polite and professional. She even laughed at my stupid jokes.

I have shopped several different home improvement stores over the years and I have found that I always have the best experience at Home Depot!! They always have what I need/want in stock and the staff members are so very friendly and truly helpful!! I no longer shop anywhere else for my home improvement needs, as Home Depot makes me feel right at home while I am shopping!!

I find these stores to have generally miserable staff. Catherine at this store went above and beyond to assist me and I appreciated her level of service.

Shopping here since this store opened. Gone waaaayyy down hill. Make sure you know what you want and where it is before visiting. Help is so so BAD and most likely will be out of what you need!!!!

I love shopping at Home Depot! They have the best selection and prices for all of my home improvement needs (and wants)! The customer service is exceptional! I always feel welcomed and valued as a customer!! I will definitely be back to shop here very soon as I have a lot of home improvement projects planned for this summer! Thank you for making my shopping experience a great one again!

this store cares about each project i have brought to their attention. I do not expect every visit to be perfect, but at least a good experience with great customer service will resolve any issues that I have at that moment.

Ken was a great help to us and spent the time with us to insure we got exactly what we needed.

Stay away from garden department. The staff (not the cashiers) are aggressive, angry and yelling most of the time. 2 Sundays in a row have gone there to get flowers and mulch and WOW! If you do not like working with people maybe customer service is not for you. That will be my last visit.

One of the better Home Depot stores! It is generally well stocked, neat and easy to check out at the registers. I do wish that all the Home Depot stores would try to improve the quality of the hardware and building supplies. Also, I wish that Home Depot could offer some basic milling.

The store was well organized, clean very pleasant to shop.

Took over an hour to get assistance with getting an item from overhead inventory. If I didn't need it right away, I would have gone elsewhere.

Compared to the Danvers, Ma Home Depot on Rte 1, Salem, MA is outstanding. I've had better service in Salem, MA pretty much every time I have shopped there. On the other hand, Danvers? Not so much. Rated Danvers, MA last week a one only because I had to select a star. Salem, MA received 5 stars and this is the location I purchased my appliance. Danvers had no one to help me and did not make an effort to find an associate. Another time, the Danvers location near the mall did not help me lift 20 bags of mulch into my van. A customer walking by helped me.

If you need help with plumbing ask for Jack. He's very patient with DIY-ers, and really helped me with my project. Any HD branch is only as good as its staff.

Store was clean and well stocked. Plumbing has a couple of people that know the stock well. Checkout is staffed and easy to get out in timely manner.
