The Home depot has disappointed me. My order did not come in when it was scheduled, and they didn't feel that I should of been upset to find out it would be 2 more weeks before it would even see a truck and that was when it was already 2 days late.

Every time I stop in, the people are friendly and knowledgeable which is important to me. They’ve helped me with simple projects or questions to a big order! Products are good and priced appropriately.

Our salesperson was great in explaining the difference in appliance models. He provided dimensions to make sure we had a good fit, and introduced us to someone in another department to assist us with a different purchase.

Associates are helpful. Almost always able to find what I need. Plus I don't have to pay Illinois taxes.

I went in to buy a range and refrigerator and knew what I wanted so just a matter of ringing me up. I brought in a copy of the printout for the cost I saw them online (they were about a $30 difference on the floor for some reason). The associate stated he would obviously honor it. He range up the items and it showed the higher amount advertised on the floor instead of online. He told me not to worry about it and it would be taken care of by the register at the end of the transaction. The associate was a very nice guy throughout the transaction so no reason not to trust him. I had a 15% moving coupon which he would apply and then stated that he could save me another $100 if I applied for the Home Depot credit card so I said yes. I asked him if he was sure he could stack the 15% new mover coupon and the discount from applying to the Home Depot card, and he said yes. So he rang us up, and I was in a hurry so didn't check the receipt until this past weekend when I had a few minutes to do the math. I saw that the amount from their online ad was not honored and that the extra $100 or so off for applying for the Home Depot card was not applied either, only the 15% moving coupon was actually applied. So now I have to go back to the store a week and a half later (I was out on vacation the day after the purchase and just got back), and try to get those discounts applied. I can only assume I will only get the $29.17 difference in online ad versus floor price, because I don't think the associate had the authority to stack the 2 coupons (the new mover and Home Depot card application coupon) on top of each other. So now I'm going to have a ding on my credit for applying to a Home Depot card and no extra discount to show for it. Very disappointing because the gentleman was so nice to us, and we thought he was really going out of his way to help us...

Judy Pociecha the appliance specialist was the most helpful person I've dealt with in a long time if your looking for a new appliance go see her.

Everyone was very helpful and they had what we needed that our Valparaiso Home Depot had discontinued. We were very happy that we could still buy what we needed thanks to the scherrillville store

This is my go-to store. There are people there who will help you find things, and answer questions. They usually have the answers, or direct you to someone who can help. They do not make you feel irrelevant for asking questions. Always a good shopping experience.

there is always a knowledgeable person who actually knows what they are talking about, its nice to have them to explain to you how to complete your task.

I am female and I am very handy in my home as well as I do small jobs for others. The nice thing about Home Depot is that your store associates are very knowledgeable about all the products and also about "HOW to" repair items when I need to know whether the associates are male or female. Very impressive.

The store is always clean. The cashiers are always pleasant and always helpful when you can't find anyone working in the store. It is mostly easy to find things by just reading the signage at the ends of the aisles. This store is not the nearest building supply store for me but I like shopping and will come in over and over again.

Great store to buy big appliances from Chuck!!

After spending some time wandering about the store, I received help from a female employee who took the time to help me find what I sought even though it was not her area of expertise. The gentleman in the plumbing area helped me to find the perfect faucet for my family's needs and also called ahead to another section to alert it to the fact that I was on my way there. At check-out, Cashier Diane offered my an H.D. card option with a bonus that reduced the amount to be paid quite a bit. Had she not taken the time, I would not have known about it. Over all, store contacts made the trip, which I was not particularly looking forward to, a pleasant and productive experience.

If you need a snowblower go see Mike. He helped us out tremendously picking out the right one for us and not trying to sell us an expensive one. The staff overall were very friendly and eager to help.

We love this Home Depot. It is always festive and fun with a great selection of merchandise. The staff is always friendly and helpful

Always have great Milwaukee tools not so much as the Chicago locations I frequent but very good for a small town in northwest Indiana either way only tool store I go to way better than ‘menards and Lowe’s
