Best store in the chain! Always clean and well stocked, but more importantly, THE BEST STAFF! We are in there at least once a week (ok, 3-4 times) being that we are remodeling a home. They always have what we need and we are always approached by a friendly, knowledgeable professional asking if we need help. From the service desk to the rental counter to the cashiers and everyone in between, they clearly care about their store and most especially, their customers. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Store staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There is always someone there to help when needed and they know their stuff when they do. Store is always neat, clean and well stocked and maintained. Online services make it super easy to plan my projects at home and then bring my list to the store to pick everything up. It’s our favorite place to shop!

Staff here is high caliber — from Paint Center staff (David at my last visit was exceptionally helpful & knowledgeable, super friendly), to cashier (Lindsay at my last visit was so welcoming & such a sweetheart - glad she reminded me on my Home Depot credit card), store clerk (who I asked what aisle I could find certain products didn’t hesitate to look up the info) to management (Gerry at my last visit stopped what he was doing to patiently answer my questions). Well organized & clean store. My favorite Home Depot location!

This is one of the best Home Depot locations. They are almost never out of stock on anything and their staff is the most professional for advice on projects. Their cashiers are also the friendliest and always happy to help. I would rate them 5-stars except for the dogs. Home Depot corporate should enforce their NO DOGS ALLOWED policy. (Of course I do not refer to companion dogs for the disabled.) Customers who bring their pets for casual walks in the store (or any retail store) are arrogant and lack the most basic of social skills. Especially when they allow their dogs to relieve themselves in the store and expect the staff to clean it up. This is rude and not part of their job. Other patrons have a reasonable expectation to not have to deal with dogs barking, sniffing, jumping, etc. because it is store policy to not allow these dogs inside the building. Whether allergic, fearful, or whatever, customers should not experience anxiety over the potential to interact with a dog, or use a cart that a dog has been transported in, when when it is reasonable to not expect dogs to be present in an indoor retail shopping environment. I have been a loyal Home Depot customer for over two decades and experiencing dogs in the store is a recent phenomenon. Years ago, Home Depot would have politely reminded a customer attempting to bring their dog into the store that pets weren't allowed unless medically necessary. For whatever reason, they have gotten lax and must make a decision whether to enforce their own rules to make shopping safe and pleasant for everyone, and to maintain a safe environment for customers and employees, or turn their stores into a dog park and lose many valuable customers. I have interacted with many customers, employees, and managers at Home Depot and my feelings are shared across the board. Home Depot - do something.

I HAVE SHOPPED YOUR STORE SINCE IT OPENED. I AM IN THERE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. BUT AFTER THE EXPERIENCE I HAD RECENTLY I WILL DRIVE THE EXTRA MILES TO SHOP ANOTHER RETAILER. I WAS SHOPPING FOR DECK LUMBER AND CALLED THE STORE AND WAS TOLD THEY HAD THE LENGTH I NEEDED. BORROWED A TRUCK WENT TO STORE AND THERE NONE OF THE SIZE I NEEDED ON THE RACK. I SPOKE TO 4 ASSOCIATES TRYING GET HELP. NO ONE HELPED NO ONER CHECKED NO ONE CARED. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This store usually has plenty of help and enough registers open so you don't waste time trying to check out.

When you go into the Trumbull Home Depot it is very organized and clean makes it easy to find what you are looking for. They always have everything in stock and if they don't then they will look to see if another store has it in stock, very professional experience.

The store is always nice and clean. Just one suggestions, provide more baskets to use for small items, rather than using a cart.

I was looking for some unusual items, a black light for a party and a battery for my key fob, I found both. The attendant was very helpful. The store was clean and had a nice arrays of indoor plants which brightened my winter day. Thank you for having everything I needed.

I never went to the Home Depot by myself until my husband passed away. Then I would go and get overwhelmed and try not to burst into tears because I could not find anything and I should not have been having to shop there by myself in the first place. And then one day a very nice employee showed me her phone and how to locate the isle and section numbers of the items. Another day a really nice employee just started chatting with me about her job and how much she liked working there. Slowly and gradually I became more and more comfortable with the store. Now I actually like going to the Home Depot and I love the Trumbull Store. They really do a have good culture there.

The store is easily accessible off of Route 111 in Monroe. It is well stocked. The store associates are quite willing to assist the customer by assisting in location of products, or more importantly in answering your questions about DIY projects. The overall experience shopping at this Home Depot will be quite satisfying!

After the store in Trumbull opened, it's been a godsend from heaven. We have previously shopped at the one in Derby, Milford, Bridgeport and the Trumbull one is way above these both in cleanliness and organization of the store (things aren't thrown together where they aren't supposed to be) and the people working there are both knowledgeable and professional, and always very friendly. If you've had bad experience with Home Depot going to some of the other local ones mentioned, I think you'll be surprised by a visit to this one. I know we have been, and they continue to stay on top of their game ever since they opened.

Store employees Georgette, Virginia, Jim and Chris were all motivated to do whatever it took to help me find exactly what I needed. They were super! Great attitudes, kind and just made the experience easy and awesome. Thanks to them, I managed to get a cool Xmas gift for my husband. Btw: this was not a major, expensive or physically challenging gift to purchase, but the way they put aside their own work and breaks for me was outstanding!

The cashier questioned why I was trying to use a military discount without my spouse there. He is often not with me, and I was embarrassed.

This store is basically a self serve environment ! LACKS customer service .... time to RETRAIN entire staff. I'll drive out of my way to Bridgeport where staff is helpful & friendly.

The store is ok. It's a home depot.. You go in, you get your stuff, you leave. If the price is right and it's decent quality, you're golden. BUT If you need advice or help, you won't find it here. Some of the employees DO go out of their way to help. Competent and helpful... but they are rare. Unfortunately, too many of the employees just don't give a darn. They wander around or stand in the aisles conversing with each other. The dichotomy of these two sets of employees is astounding. For example, I asked an employee who was meandering down the lumber aisle, "Where are the furring strips?" She looked at me blankly, so I repeated the question clearly and slowly. She finally asked me, "You wanna furry and steps...whut??" She had NO idea what I was talking about. And worse, she just shrugged and wandered away. I found them myself, of course. But that dumb, cow eyed, stupid "I dunno" attitude is far too common. HD used to hire tradesmen to man the aisles. Now it seems they hire any drop-out who failed at flipping burgers.

As usual another frustrating trip to this store. No product on the ground, products mixed in boxes. And no one goes out of there to help you.
