Does this include Pac Man tool

Asked by: jb1811
jb1811, this sprinkler adjustment tool doesn't include that particular piece. It does, however, include a stem clip, a fixed nozzle socket, 3 stem pullers, 2 gear drive tools, 5 screwdriver bits and a punch tool for micro/drip irrigation.

This is one of those things that seems like a good idea but suffered from (really) poor execution. I would have given it one star but it DID come in handy for taking off the nozzles from those old fashioned fixed sprayers (by using the handle with no "extension attachment" inserted in it). BUT, as mentioned by someone else, the "clip" piece that is intended to keep a pop up sprinkler extended while you work on it doesn't even stay attached to the handle let alone keep a nozzle of the sprinkler that is under spring tension from retracting back into the housing. Also, the small flat head screwdriver bent after only adjusting 5 or 6 brand new (plastic pop up) sprinklers. I didn't try out the other tools (for rotary sprinklers etc), but 2 out of the 3 tools that I DID need it for failed miserably. Also, it has two "extension attachments" (only one is pictured here) but you can obviously only insert one at a time. So the other one stays in the toolbox, or wherever, and you have to go back to get it when you need it (OR stick the second, rather pointy thing, in your pocket). Kind of defeats the purpose of an all in one tool doesn't it? Would have been a neat tool if they spent more time at the drawing board. I returned it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from An OK tool. I have had one of these for at least five years now and figured I'd post about it. The bits are easy to swap out and it has good real estate for you to grip when using as a screwdriver. My main complaint about this tool is the wedge piece that you would use to keep a sprinkler head propped up to work on it. In theory this is a great idea, but placing it into the handle for storage failed in the application. It falls out easily and the sharp edges jab you when using the tool as a screwdriver. It's really a pain and you take it out until you're done using the tool, meaning you might leave it somewhere. It would have been better to store the wedge closer to the driver in front of where your hand fits around the handle. A great idea that didn't really translate into what the average home owner will actually use or how they will use it. Like I said, I've had one for more than a few years now and use it often. The above is my opinion only and your mileage may vary.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A Swiss Army Knife of Useless Tools At first glance it would seem that it has every tool that you need to work on sprinklers. However, there are only one or two that actually work with the heads that are sold by HD. They also added pieces that fall off and a sharp tool on the handle that prevent someone from using it as you would a screwdriver. Definitely bait to catch fisherman and not fish.
