Answer:
No. The glides are press fit, and have to be re-adjusted. Drawer's were out of alignment, so expect to take apart, and re-nail after being squared up. There are holes that you can use to screw the glides to the drawers.

No, the slides are not screwed to anything. Answer:
No, but there are holes in the glides through which you could add short screws. Also, the glides are screwed into the cabinet.

Answer:
No, only to the sides of the drawer (near the bottom). The drawer glide has a 90 degree bend and goes under the drawer, but there are no screws attaching it there.

Answer:
The sides are particle board, as shown in the photo. Even with paint, they show the particle board texture. Would recommend oak veneer or a thin piece of oak-faced plywood for ends, if you want a nice look. (Or any kind of thin, paintable covering if you are painting.)

Answer:
yes, they do offer a cabinet in this same size with a door instead of drawers. Home Depot also sells "Trash Can Pull Out " kits, but you should measure the door opening first, to see which kit will fit your cabinet.

Answer:
Hi Tom, we do offer a cabinet that includes a door instead of the 2 lower drawers on Homedepot.com. Unfortunately the cabinet does not come with sliding hardware for the trash can. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot.

I would if the people didn't have the money to buy finished cabinets.Mine aren't cut square and the fronts of the them are warped.i have these cabinets in my kitchen. After they are put up.They look fine.Mine has aged well and are a pretty color. The installer was suppose to put in the 2 stacks of drawers when job was done.I do not trust contractor now.The cabinets look great for what you pay for them.

The construction is as cheap as they can make it so many of these have major defects but if you find a well made one they seem ok for the price. If you have a bigger budget I wouldn't recommend skimping for these cabinets but they're fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hampton Failed to meet quality and construction Never thought this bargain would turn out the way it did. Purchased 4 base cabinets that each had 3 drawers to them. Out of 12 drawers, 10 had to be re-nailed, glued, and the Metal runner for the slides adjusted. The fronts did not show any flaws, until after they were removed for staining. Lots of cracks, holes filled with putty, and reject lumber with flaws. Each drawer had the back panel that was off by 3/8's of an inch. Had to re-square and re-nail, then glued to hold together. Thought about returning, but had already started staining when the flaws were discovered. 4 of the drawers had nails that did not even go into the next board. Very shoddy construction, by a company that must not have any supervision, or review to see that it was put together right.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality Thought we were getting oak, the only part oak is the face. The assembly was careless. The plastic braces in the corners were not all square and the screws they used cracked it a bit. Get what you pay for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ready made cabinets These cabinets were available when I needed them. They are pretty light weight and drawers don't pull real smoothly. But they will do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If you've got no budget, this is definitely the way to go! I do kitchens and sometimes I come across a client that simply can't afford much but really can't continue without redoing their kitchen. I used these cabinets because I really wanted the wood (that plastic coating of melamine cabinets in this price range falls off!) and so we decided to finish these ourselves. We stained them Expresso so they look very fashionably dark and a few extra coats of polyurethane made them rich looking. We put them with a light silver counter and pale blue paint and the space is fantastic looking! We're not talking Woodmode here and certainly there are a few flaws in the wood (dark stain helped that too) but for the price, you simply can't do better than this. Client is very happy :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great desk base on a budget I used this as the base for a desk I made for my 9 year old son. We just couldn't find a solid desk at a reasonable price. This unit saved me a ton of time and money and is solid enough for a child's use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Dissapointed I purchased this product and at the store had to go through 4 drawers because of damage or poor work. After getting one of the drawers home I discovered it was warped and had to return it. Now after owning it for just six months a drawer has completely fallen apart. This is six bad drawers on a unit that only has 3 drawers. I simply cannot recommend this product.
