Customer Questions & Answers

Can it be used manually only, not hooked up to timer?

Asked by: cc
Yes, the solenoid is also a valve you can open manually. I advise going with another brand, these valves are very bad quality and leak.

I'm building a t-shirt cannon, and this solenoid is the perfect valve for such function as i require. all i need to know is the voltage required to activate the solenoid valve so i can actually use the thing... much thanks to all who answer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage. Stay Away!! 40% failure rate I needed to replace the previous water master anti siphon valves so I went to Home Depot. Orbit is a direct replacement for my old valves. Despite the negative reviews I thought if they were a direct replacement it would be an easy fix. (Orbit is the only maker with the small width between the pipes, all others are wider). I put 5 valves in. 3 work correctly. 2 leak profusely from the actuator. Absolutely terrible quality control. I really wanted to buy American made products by these valves are JUNK! I'm going back to Champion or Lawn Genie. Cutting pipe is much more appealing than dealing with garbage valves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from garbage I've had to replace every one of the 12 valves at my house two, three and even four times in the last 12 years. Save yourself some greif and spend a little more at a sprinkler supply house and let it be the last time you have to replace it. Total pieces of garbage. It says lifetime warranty but when you call they ask you the symptoms it displays and then sends you a new diaphram, selenoid or body for you to take apart and replace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3/4 in Anti-Siphon Zone Valve My old valve wouldn't stop the water from flowing, even after installing a new silinoid. So I had to replace the whole Anti-Siphon assembly. It fixed the problem, so far so good. Work's great.
