I have actually purchased many of these valves because of the cost savings. I found that I end up replacing them often. They will start leaking at the solenoid over time and they will fail frequently in a few months, while the Rainbird or Toro valves last forever. The input/output pipe connection, spaces of the pipes closer together than other valves so it is difficult to go to another valve without reworking your sprinkler piping. I am going to bite the bullet and will redo all my valves to higher quality valves. In this case, you do get what you pay for and it is not worth all the aggravation to continually replace valves to a small cost savings. I have replaced all my valves more than once with the Orbit brand to avoid the re-pipe but have come to the conclusions it is best to redo all my valves with quality ones. Sorry to say I would not recommend this valve.
