I don't know that this green tape works better than ScotchBrand's other tapes, as I still had some bleeding under the tape, but some protection is better than none, and it works "fine". I painted my dining room walls, then my trim, then pulled the tape, saw bleeding, touched up the walls again, and was done. I was hoping not to have to touch up the walls, but it wasn't a lot of areas, so I would use it again.

We used this tape for baseboards and trim and it wouldn't stick at all! When we used the paintbrush the tape came right up. Now we have to go over and try and remove all of the paint that we tried to keep off the trim. Will definitely not be purchasing this product again.

This tape is the most over priced, lowest performing product I have ever used. It does NOT stick to anything, including it self. Every single edge I masked with this tape required repainting. This was a huge waste of time and money. Please, for your own good (and sanity), use a different product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Precious This products statement "Locked Edge" delivered
First time painting lines on our walls. We were afraid that paint would bleed onto other lines however, we were astonished after seeing how well the 3M Locked Edge blue tape worked. It eliminated one step (the caulking of the edges) saving us valuable time. The lines turned out crisp and sharp. Thanks

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rlynn My boyfriend bought this tape to do his bedroom and when we pealed it off it started ripping the paint off. He now has to spend more money on paint and redo his whole room because of this tape!! I would not recommend this product to anyone!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Desert Rat not the old quality...
What happened? I started with an "old" roll of 2090 Scotch-Blue that I had for a project last year.Well, I couldn't pull more than 8 - 12 inches before it tore itself in that infuriating "V". This hadn't happened with your tape before - the cheap brands, yes it happens all the time. Thought it was just old, so I opened a brand new Scotch-Blue 2093 roll. The same thing happened. Not only that, but I couldn't get the pieces to stick together as I masked off the door frame. I've been doing my own DIY painting for over 40 years and the new stuff just isn't the same quality as the old khaki colored masking tape available at the corner hardware store. Just saying...

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by SJS7 Ripped paint off of the wall
I was painting trim with a small brush, and so I wanted a narrower tape to use. I found this and decided to try it. When I removed it, it took a large strip of paint off of the wall with it, to the point where I now have to sand and repaint that entire section of the wall. When I retape the area, I'm going back to frog tape, which has yet to fail me since I started painting my house last year.
